tested and working but little sound

Gave new life to an old passive sub woofer. Really did the trick.

Works great! Exactly what I was looking for. Old Sony receiver powered the sub but the new one didn't. Put this inline and I'm back in business.

Just got done installing this into a Athena Technologies AS-P4100 10" Sub-woofer box. The Athena Technologies AS-P4100 10"Sub-woofer was plagued by faulty amplifiers,but was a great sounding small sub woofer box. Most Plate Amps will not fit. This particular amp just makes it when trimming all four sides of the opening. The Amp works well and is more than enough power for this sub. It runs pretty cool compared to the original amp. The 6 dB @ 45 Hz Bass Boost is overkill. I wish I had opted for the no bass boost model. They should add as other powered sub woofers have, a switch to turn the boost on/off. For this particular application it is a little to boomy. Other applications may be fine with the boost. If it had that switch, I would have given it 5 stars. I will update this post as time goes by with any problems.
