First one was moldy, replacement was perfect.
Okay, so it gets 3 stars because the first one that was opened was FULL of mold. I'm super allergic. This was a gift for my husband and I'm so glad he opened it early because OH MY GOODNESS. THERE WAS SO MUCH MOLD. The replacement we received was mold-free and he loves the letter opener. Definitely would recommend the product just make sure you open it as soon as you get it so you don't accidentally gift someone a bunch of mold.

This was a real cute product when i saw it but when i recieved it, the product had some unpainted parts and it was slightly askew (poorly made). The knife part looks too thin to cut the top of an envelope, but i haven't had a problem with it breaking just yet. Still very cute, I might repaint it myself to make it look better.

I needed a last minute gift for my boss, a huge Star Wars fan. This was practical & shipped with in two days, thanks to Prime. Packaging was great & made it easier to wrap for Christmas. Painting was a little chipped from the base of the letter opener, but nothing that would make me want to dislike it. Sturdy, a bit heavy, & serves its purpose. Great gift.

This is a nice looking letter opener although the handle design is a little complicated and that it was meant to be a light sabre is not readily discernible. It is nonetheless a very practical letter opener and holds well in the hand. Would have given it 5 stars if the handle design was better, but this is a matter of taste.

Not worth the money
Firstly, out of the box it was filthy. The paint it chipped and worn all over. It has so many dents and the absolute worst paint job. It looks decades old and it’s as though it was put in a garbage disposal before shipping it to us. Don’t waste your money on this.

Disappointed.
Looks cool. But it looks already used. It's all chipped up and the blade feels like it has indentations in it. The handle is worn as well. Would make an awesome gift it was new as the structure is pretty good.

What better way to open mail?
I needed a letter opener, little did I know I would find a lightsaber one. And you don’t need midichlorians to open your mail with it.

Needs improvement
So there are a couple things I do want to point out. The paint needs some improvement. It's pretty bad in some areas but not so bad in others. Also the blade is slightly bent, but it's not as bad as some other people have gotten. Overall it isn't worth the extra money unless you really want it Star Wars themed. I hope they see these reviews and try to fix the paint and blade issue.
