Worked fine for the first week, but then failed to charge or hold a charge after a week of use. It was used on a Lenovo G550 that didn't move more than 20 feet from the end table at the end of the couch. In other words, no rough treatment.UPDATE: After searching for another battery, this was the only comparable reasonable choice. So...I bought another one and tried again. This one is working fine and has been going for about 2 months now of near daily use, charging it all the way up and running it almost all the way down. Thus, the 1 star went to a 3 star.Since Amazon provided return shipping for the first battery, I wasn't out anything except being tethered to the power cord for most of a week. Amazon gets a thumbs up.

This battery was the perfect fit for a 4 year old Lenovo that had lost its ability to hold a charge. The maximum charge is right on par with an OEM battery and it has worked well for the month or so since I purchased it. I paid about $12.50 (Prime) when I bought it. You absolutely cannot beat $12 bucks for a brand new battery.I'll update this review if it acts up, but as of right now this purchase was a no-brainer 5-star.

I was only getting 14 minutes out of my original, 8 year old, battery so I decided to give this inexpensive generic battery a try. After it was charge up I used my laptop on battery power for 2 hours. Linux said I still had another 20 minutes of life in it. I charged it last night and used it on battery power again for over 2 hours. I have no complaints. The battery is a bargain.

Has worked well for the month or so I've had it. Of course, this particular battery doesn't have the greatest battery life when the laptop is unplugged, maybe 3 hours. That was a design limitation from the beginning. And the Lenovo still runs hot whether on battery or not, but not like the failed original battery that came with the computer. Even so, that one lasted 5 years since it wasn't used that often.

Day one... I can only say it's charging and working. IF there is any problem later, like 6 months from now I'll update this because this usually is a time test, right?

I purchased this item on 4-14-17 and it no longer works. Apparently it is past the time it can be returned. I would think the life of this battery would be more than 7 weeks. If someone at the company can address my comment I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe I just happened to get a defective unit and you can replace mine and I can retract this negative post. Thanks

The battery came with 76% battery life, in about 22 mins of use it went down to 40%. Now I charged it completely, which took about an hour and a half maybe two hours to charge all the way. Seems to drain somewhat fast just surfing the web but if I can get a good two hours I would be happy.

Purchased for Lenovo G550. Fits perfectly and works flawlessly. Lasts 3-4 hours. Recommended.
