These numbers are very thin—paper thin, less than paper thin—with a mind of their own. Therefore, they tend to twist when trying to apply. Don’t try to apply them on a windy day; that makes it even more difficult. Because of the tapered font (like on the 2s) they tend to crimp. So you have to take your time to apply. I applied my number on my mail box on May 11, 2020. I’ll try to remember to check back in a year to let you know if they fade in the sun. Would have been nice to have vinyl that was at least twice as thick to make handling them easier.There is no guide to help you placing them. You have to draw your own line and guess on the space between the numbers.On the plus side, the adhesive does seem very sticky. I can’t imagine them coming loose, but again, time will tell. By the way, there are only four of each number.

Repainted mailbox and needed new numbers to fit front panel. Attractive font in reflective gold. Not too complicated to attach to box. Be patient and mark with painter’s blue tape to get spacing and line straight. Looks pretty good but adhesive background has some texture, not totally transparent, and you get a little distortion in sunlight. Have held up to weather so far. Good solution. Value.

Not cut out, and solid gold lettering only. No white background. Adhesive doesn't work well on plastic.
