Not quite right, but serviceable.
The package came wrapped pretty well, but still an edge was damaged during shipment. I didn't want to send it back since it was a heavy load to tote to a return outlet, and I found a lot of wood glue on the particleboard plus a clamp worked well enough to hold things together and effect a repair. Some black duct tape and some black ink cleared up most appearance problems. I wasn't concerned about looks so much since I meant the thing to sit in a darkened TV media room where I wanted to move it back and forth to see old VHS tapes and certain DVDs on a different TV. So I am happy that the stand works well enough to hold my VHS machine and a second tape machine to make video copies, plus a DVD machine for whatever DVDs don't play on my regular machine (curiously, some DVDs require an older machine). Once set up, the stand worked well. Now, putting together the stand might not be a piece of cake for novices who are not used to reading diagrams. Those folks may have to dedicate an afternoon to do the job. The manufacturers overseas are selling to a worldwide audience with all sorts of languages to deal with, so the easiest path is to show pictures. Sometimes those pictures are skimpy in detail. Friendly advice: use a little wood glue between all parts that have to be put together. Also, the plastic inserts that are supposed to hold media on the sides do not fit the spaces that are provided, and are pretty useless. The spaces on the left and right sides of the stand are best used to stack VHS tapes or CD tapes without the interfering plastic supports.Nonetheless, the stand met my needs despite the ad which promises more than it delivers, so I have to give a middling grade. But for those in the USA, don't anyone expect something that came from Thomasville. As they say, you get what you pay for. Just OK, by me.

My 42 inch TV must be portable. This product ...
My 42 inch TV must be portable. This product is solid, but I will probably reinforce the shelves to hold my very old and heavy surround receiver.

Good TV Cart
I like this cart. I was having difficulty finding a black TV cart that would hold my DVR, DVD and other items and fit nicely inside of a closet with french doors. This cart fits perfectly. My only regret is that it has slots for CD's and not DVD's. It holds my 27 inch TV nicely without making me feel as if it could fall forward or back. This product is very stable and sturdy. Overall a very good buy.
