There is nothing not to love about this fan. My husband said the instructions were brilliant, that our cat could have installed it with how well the instructions were written and how easy it was to install. All of the bags and parts are labeled with different icons, making each one easy to find when it manual says "use x from the bag labeled with the circle". It took him maybe 20 minutes, start to finish. The best part about it was the ceiling mount. It's set up so you can slip the fan on it and it holds it in place for you while you attach the wires to the ceiling. I was thrilled, because that meant I didn't have to hold up a heavy fan above my head while my husband put the wires together. The fan is so, so quiet and cranks out air. The high setting would be perfect if you don't have AC, the middle setting is great and the low setting gives a nice breeze. The fan is beautiful. We have it in the brushed nickel and I love it. If you're thinking about buying this fan and you're on the fence, do it. There isn't a better value out there. We've replaced other fans in our home, and I wish we had used this one for all of them.

hunter is a brand you can trust. i purchased this to replace the last fan i bought that wasn’t a hunter. it was a breeze to install. the instructions were clear and easy to follow. the speeds are great, the aesthetic of the fan itself is classic hunter. it is so quiet even at the highest speed. i have two switches and that was easy to set up. i’m extremely happy with this purchase. i still have a room that needs a fan. you can bet it’s going to be a hunter ceiling fan. edit: added a couple of smart bulbs to the light to further expand the awesomeness of this ceiling fan. bulb size is A15 E26. see the two additional photos.

I'm so pleased with this fan I'm purchasing number 5 of the same item right now. Excellent build quality. Excellent finish. Very heavy and very solid construction. All parts are included to remove the included light kit and install as fan-only (that is how I installed all of mine so I cannot comment on the quality and coverage of light). Hunter has thought of everything in their design which contributes to two critical points for me: 1) Perfect balance at every speed right out of the box. It's nice they included a mini blade balancing kit and even nicer that I have not had to use a single one of them! 2) Absolutely dead quiet. Not a trace of electrical/motor hum or AC buzzing. The only sound is air movement when used at high speed, which of course one would expect. Also note that the optional downrods are a perfect color and sheen/texture match for the fan unit. I'll never go back to big-box store brands when they cost more and are of very poor quality compared to these. You will spend a little more time installing these units for the very reason I believe they are well balanced and totally quiet. For example; consider the rubber bushings for each blade mounting bolt (15) which isolates the motor from blade movement. Quality engineering in so many regards pays off. Description details are 100% accurate. If you don't like this color scheme look at the other choices to choose from. I've seen a number of comments questioning use on vaulted ceilings. These so ship with a heavy duty ceiling bracket that is designed to support flush or tilted ceiling installations. Of course fairly steep angles will require longer downrods than the 2 lengths Hunter ships in the box to clear the ceiling pitch in your application.

Bought 2 of these fans and they work great. Whisper quite fan and installation went quick. Tiny bit of wobble with the fans at the high setting, I just use the balance kit that is enclosed and it stabilizes easily. I wish the globe over the light wasn't so frosted because it filters the light too much and the two 60 watt bulbs it comes with are about as bright as one 60 watt bulb in a standard desk lamp. I also wish that it mounted closer to the ceiling because I'm 6'2" and with the shortest down rod in the box (they give you 2 different ones), the lowest part of unit (the light globe) sits about 6'7" from the floor on a standard 8' ceiling with plush carpet flooring (might be lower with hardwood). Just wish there was more clearance when walking under it since I'm tall. And for that, I took off a star. Other than that, it is a great quality brand name fan at a good value so I purchased two more to match the others and they went up just as easily with no problems.

I am a 19 year old man who had never installed a ceiling fan before. Upon receiving the fan, everything was neatly labeled and organized in the box. the instructions were clear and concise and provided ample information for installation. With only a power drill, the entire installing for me (a newbie) took about an hour. I do plan to order another one of these for another room in my house and I expect the installation to go much smoother. Overall, it was an easy install and I actually kind of had fun doing it. Now for the quality of the product: this fan is beautiful. I do not feel the pictures did it justice, and for the low pricing, it was an amazing deal. The fan is very quite and turns the air very effectively. The color of the blades looks very nice and makes a very attractive product. The fan is very stable and there is no wobble whatsoever. In conclusion: my first fan purchase was a success. The installation was smooth and easy, and the finished product looked fantastic. When it comes to buying fans, Hunter is a brand you know you can trust.

As all the reviews have said this is a quality Hunter fan which is easy to install. The installation would have been even more of a breeze had we not discovered the existing ceiling box was attached to a hanger bar that was too small to support the fan. Since finding the ceiling box in the attic under blown in installation would have been difficult if not impossible we went to Home Depot and found a retro-fit ceiling fan safety brace for $13. (Description : This Westinghouse Saf-T-Brace allows you to safely install your ceiling fan or lighting fixture in three easy steps--without having to access attic space. Ideal for installation during new construction or remodeling, this mounting brace can be put into finished ceilings through a 4-in. hole. This brace works with all ceiling fans, so you do not have to worry about size or compatibility. The brace's three teeth easily twist and lock into the ceiling joists, its threaded multiple lead adjusts quickly, and its square tube allows for easy turning. It also includes a Saf-T-Cap to protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting.) Once the new ceiling box was installed the fan went up easily. There was a little wiggle in the fan, but was easily solved with the enclosed balance kit. The fan runs so quietly and smoothly the pull chains which hang beneath it don't even move. The glass light shade is a little darker than the picture but almost matches the glass shade on a floor lamp in the room. I'm very happy with the fan and its appearance.

This fan is just perfect! Amazon packed the item very well. No damage it appears. I have to take them out of the box and inspect them closer but Such a nice rich cherry look and very affordable! I am not handy, I am paying someone more $$ to install my fans then I bought them for! I will have them hooked up with remote to control.
