The wire is quite long and is up On my child’s wall

I don’t think you can change the brightness. We have it in our hallway as it was too bright to be in any other room, it makes a great night light.

Q: How long does it last once charged

You don't charge it, it is mains powered. The button battery is just to enable the clock to not require resetting in the event of a power failure. It keeps the internal time circuit running, it does not power the clock display or alarm sounds.

Q: anyone know where i could get a replacement wire? has to be same size as original as it was up high on a wall, thank you
