Perfect for my use
Drilled a 4 inch hole 10 inches deep using this extension, (started with the 6 inch 5/8-11 then bought the 12 inch long extension) on a Milwaukee and a Dewalt Angle Grinder, extremely well made for the price, held up to the abuse that I put it through, nicely

Flawless
Did exactly what was intended to do. It help me bore 3 separate 2.5" holes through a 24" fieldstone foundation. Took the abuse of alot of resistance, never saw hammer mode, and is exactly the way it was sent to me if I ever need to use it again

Yep - works
This is the text from my review of the Concord Blades CBD04500HP 4-1/2 Inch core drill bit that goes with this extension...=========================================================================It really does just what its supposed to do...I bought this to put a 4" air exhaust duct in, through my foundation - brick face over cement block, about 14" thick. I first used just the drill with the Concord Blades HEX500 Core Bit Adapter. When it was getting too far into the wall I added the Concord Blades EXT06D 6 Inch Core Bit Extension.Drilling freehand was a bit of a trick to get started and it was really tiring, even with my heavy duty drill. I will say that because I went freehand, there was a bit of drift (no surprise) and I did not go 100% straight but the fact that I had a 41/2" hole for a 4" pipe allowed everything to fit easily.I should add that I had my partner on hand with a garden hose to wet the drill while drilling. I don't know how much it helped, especially after it was well into the hole but it did not really get hot which can only be a good thing...All in all, less expensive than renting and I ended up also using it to drill a hole through floor tile for a toilet drain line that I was installing in a bathroom floor. For that I used a simple piece of PVC pipe to help position the drill and reduce drift. It worked great and was far neater than I would have achieved with the grinder and nippers.

Functional (as described by seller). More heavy (more weight) than expected.

great for getting to hard spots, with the cut off or grinding wheels
fits perfect on my craftsman and beaur 4 1/2 cut off and grinder. needed 6" for a couple of jobs. use a shorter one for most jobs. really handy

Amazing quality
Amazing quality, solid steel construction, fully machined, very heavy duty, runs true. I have no idea how they can manufacture this for $15 and still make any profit with its level of quality. I used this as an extension for my angle grinder in order to use 2” Scotch-Brite pads for paint and rust removal.

9000 RPM's No Problem
WOW. Purchased this initially to use for it's intended purpose for core rig but decided to try it out on the disc grinder as an extension to allow me to cut out some deep recessed ceiling 12x12 metal boxes... The shaft worked perfectly at 9000 RPM's while attached to a 4 1/2" grinding wheel. No wobble at all. Nice machining.

Well-made
Better made then the price would suggest. I don't even need it to be hollow I'm using this polish metal. My original concern was it would be too thin to support the torque I would put it through, now a couple days of heavy use with no concerns or problems.
