Antico Wooden Lockable Memory and Treasure Box for Keepsakes, Photos, Letters, Jewelry and More

I gave several of these to my adult children for their keepsake treasures for Christmas.They were well received and appreciated. The boxes are made with exceptional craftsmanship and hardware.

Beautiful keepsake box. Excellent quality for gift giving. I thought I had a problem with a missing piece. The seller responded immediately to correct the problem. I actually found the piece in the box and didn't need a replacement. I will definitely purchase this piece again. It's my new favorite wedding present!

Everything was great except the holes in the lid were not drilled straight to Aline with the metal plate. My husband had to fix it so we could get the screws in to hold the plate.

I think it’s really nice. I just wish buyers had the option to order the item with engraving so I wouldn’t have to go to the mall to get it done.There is a small bare-wood colored mark near the latch of my box (not visible when box is closed). Not worth the hassle of exchanging. It’s a slight effort to actually lock the box, but I didn’t purchase the box for the actual lock feature, so this will not be an issue for me.EDIT: I reduced a star, because the dots on the box weren't exact to where the screws should go. I was able to secure the first screw flush to the box. The second ended up at an angle which I could not correct. After multiple attempts, I screwed and unscrewed it so many times the face of the screw got janky and the wood loose (I'm gonna have to put wood glue if I want both sides properly secured.)

I’ve been searching for a wooden box to hold the WWII flight records of my father, who flew the Hump during the war. This box was perfect. It’s large enough to hold all his documents and it is of good quality, fitting for his heroic participation in the war. I like it so much, I’m getting another one!

Seems like a decent keepsake box but u will have to do a little handiwork to get the latch and catch to line up to lock the box. The keys r also cheap and will bend and break.

The metal plate is attractive, but it is NOT BRASS. It's probably lacquered aluminum (the back is not that aged brass color, it's a near-shineless silver). Nobody will engrave it. It doesn't come with any instructions regarding what metal it is or what engraving process should be used (laser, rotary, or diamond etching). It's not brass or steel. I've been to 3 engravers and nobody will touch it because they don't know what process to use and don't want to be the one who messes it up. I ended up purchasing a real brass plate from the engraver, which actually isn't as attractive as this one because it's too shiny. I guess I'll just keep this one in the box in case I ever find out what the heck it is. The description calls it brass, but that is absolutely false.

I love the box

I was looking for a wooden storage box to keep my X-Large Mahjong tile set in, but it was very difficult to find one big enough.This box was perfect! A little on the pricey side, but we’ll worth it for the level of quality.The box is lined with black flocking, with a removable insert (which I didn’t need). It’s got a place to store documents or booklets too. It was able to accommodate all my mahjong tiles (144, each measuring 1.8” x 1.4” x 1”), and there was even room to spare, which allows me to hold the coins and coin bowls, dice, and wind counter all in the same box.Very happy with this purchase.

I was very pleased with this box. Well made with three compartments in the base lined with a valour interior. Great size, A4 paper will fit great in the compartment inside the lid. Great product.

Nice box, lid is slightly off-centre but nothing that I would worry about. It seems like nice quality and decently well built but is definitely a little pricey for what you get. Handmade custom gift boxes by a carpenter aren't that far off the price point, but instead of waiting for someone to build one, this one is a very nice substitute.

My order arrived in 5 days, in EXCELLENT condition....not a mark or scratch anywhere! It came extremely well wrapped, and securely boxed for shipment. That really impressed me - the care taken in preparation for shipment, so as not to incur damage. I am SO happy I made this choice! She will treasure it always, and it will forever be regarded as something "extra special" to honour this event, as well as a constant reminder of our love for, and pride in her accomplishments. We purchased this for a wedding gift and the newlyweds loved it. Beautiful solid wood and well crafted. It came triple boxed so there was no damage. Would definitely would purchase it again. However, the shipping took too long, over 10 days.
