Drift Innovation Waterproof Case for Stealth 2 Camera

Did everything I expected it to do. Took my Drift Stealth 2 camera to Myrtle Beach to record our family vacation. The camera stayed dry during all our trips to the beach and the pool. I was able to shoot video of the kids playing in the pool just as clear as if I was on dry land. During our water activities the camera stayed perfectly dry and functioned just as it should. The salt water didn't bother the case either. However, as soon as it was practical I did rinse the outside of the case under fresh water just to ensure there was no salt corrosion on the camera mounting socket.

Very secure case. I went swimming and the case made it very easy to use my camera while in the water. The case did not change the quality the recording in any way. I also play paintball and this case is perfect in keeping my camera paint free...love it

The case itself is very bulky and adds quite a bit of weight to the camera.

This thing is awesome. Took it paintballing the day after I got it and it worked like a CHAMP!!

OK so the Drift Stealth 2 is a budget camera with no LCD display and no ability to swap the battery but it has one big benefit: That battery last for 3 hours and it's splash proof without the waterproof cover.But I use it mounted on a pole on the back of a (very wet) Weta Trimaran to record/review my sailing activities so I really need to use the waterproof case.The first problem is turning it on to record as you have to bring the pole into the boat to be able to turn it on (long press) and set recording to start (short press same button). Yes, there is a remote available - no it's not waterproof - WTF?.So the waterproof cover works and it has a glass lens cover which helps with shedding water but the hinges all are prone to rust as they are not 316 stainless steel and the perspex catch broke on mine - possibly from an impact but it's not exactly the best material for a catch.My other action cameras (SJ1000, SJ3000, TCL SVC200) have mostly used nylon for the door catch which is much less brittle.In addition you can't see the status (on/off/recording) of the camera when it's pointed at you when the waterproof cover is on.Oh and the 140deg angle of the lens is pretty poor compared to the competition.

Great piece of kit,camera fits in snug and good fitting on the helmet,I got a lot of wind noise before when I was out on the bike with the camera on especially on the open roads but when the camera is in the case it cuts all that out. I keep the camera in the case wether it's raining or not because it stops dust and protects the camera from scratches or knocks etc,worth the money

Easy to use, does a great job underwater, but I find it most useful to protect camera from dust & gravel on hot dry motor-biking adventures. Can use it with gloves on 'cos the trumpet-like buttons are quite large. The camera will still pick up some sound, but an extra bonus is, the wind noise is damped out - a Good Thing! Love it.

Excellent addition and serves a few purposes in use.Cuts out wind noise when used on my motorcycle. Protects from stone chip damage and is of course FULLY waterproof.Well designed and worth the investment (IMO!!)

The only problem I have with this bit of kit is that the bar that holds the front opener in place came out after a few uses. Other than that it would have got a 5

as described but design of clip is not good as all, as it broke 3rd time i needed it.
