RapalaHusky Jerk 08 Fishing Lures

I am a novice at fishing. Most of my experience has been with live bait and some basic spinners.I purchased this lure for a trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota this past late spring.I had never used a lure of this type but was very pleased to discover just how easy it was to use.The Northern Pike and Small Mouth Bass simply could not resist it!The quality of the lure was very good. The hooks very sharp. I really don't recall any strikes where I didn't actually land the fish.I purchased a few other Rapala brand lures for the trip. All worked great, but this color combination was the best.A big thanks to Rapala for helping to make the best fishing trip/experience of my life.

The Rapala Husky Jerk is a lure that I've kept in my tacklebox for years. It is a very well balanced, high quality jerkbait. The suspending action of this bait entices finicky fish when most other hard baits fail to produce. The hooks come very sharp, and the paint finish holds up well after multiple fish. This is definitely a classic, must have lure.

Misleading that the picture shows 3 treble hooks and it only comes with 2. Suspends very well and swims great. My only complaint is the misleading picture in reference to size. It’s a small bait that catches small fish.

got this in the tennesee shad. it is a bit more bright than in the pic.the green is more like a forest green with a blaze orange belly but i like to throw this bait in the sping about a foot away from an anchored boat when on a dock, reelat a steady retrive. during spawn for bass i like to jerk down my rod and reel in slack to make it look likeits feeding on bass eggs. the bass just hate that and go for it.overall a real good bait. get one

This lure was exactly what I was looking for I typed in Baby Bass Lure and a ton of options showed up on amazon.com and there was a smalled one that I liked and I clicked on it but then I saw this one which is perfect. I ordered 2 one for my boyfriend and one for his brother who had recently lost his and needed to replace it since it was his favorite lure. I havent tested it out yet but im sure I will be catching some big bass with this lure.

Used the 08 black back and chrome body tonight and caught pretty much everything in Canandaigua Lake except small mouth. I caught a massive pickerel that unfortunately cut the line when I brought it up to the kayak so I’m here to buy this again but going to add the 10.

Real rapala...nice lure...cant go wrong in your arsenal...recommend
