This is the first time I have bought and used an instant eyeshadow and I've got to say I'm very impressed with the result.I'm not great at applying eye shadow the normal way so thought i'd give this a go for a night out as really wanted a smokey eye look but whenever I do it myself I end up looking as though i've got into a fight.So I chose the Smokey eyes and waited for Amazon to deliver which was around 10 hours.I placed the eyeshadow pad on my eyelid and very gently held it there for around 5 seconds then gently swept the pad outward and slightly upwards and lifted it up. I was pleasently surprised I hadnt made a mess of it and it hardly needed much blending at all.Im rather impressed and will definatly buy more in some other colours too now.These would be expensive for regualar use but for a night out I think they are great especially if like me you cant apply eye shadow properly yourself or are in a hurry.Photo is of my very first attempt and I think it looks great. Its got great pigmentation which lasted all night without smudging or budging. 5 stars from me.

I came across these just as i was going to place an order for my usual palette. Having had quite an expensive Christmas, i decided to order the eyeMajic Smokey Eyes at £5.99! Being a little apprehensive at first, as instant eyeshadow that you can apply within seconds, and lasts all day seemed like a bit of a gimmick. It arrived, in robust, small packaging, the colour exact to the image on amazon. Running late for work with only a few minutes to spare, i applied the eyeshadow by watching the video. It was so simple, i pressed on each eye and then slid across, and a combination of 3 shades appeared as on the applicator. There was excess eyeshadow, which the manufacturers say to blend using the end of the applicator, but i just used the tip of my finger to slightly blend and i was good to go. There was plenty of eyeshadow still on the applicator, enough for a couple more tries. But now for the real test, which was to see how long it lasts. Well, it lasted all day, and when i got home and used a facial wipe, it was all removed, with no need to use makeup remover at all. Truly Majic!

These go on really well, and appear really pigmented when you first apply them. However, once you start to blend the shadow, the pigment becomes much more subtle. This is great if you don’t like a striking eye colour, or effect, but not so good if you like a more intense look. I prefer my smokey eye look to be more intense, so that’s the only downside. Otherwise they’re great, and so simple, and quick to use. I’ve already bought another box, and a box of a single colour. I’ll definitely be keeping my make up bag stocked.

I love these! Not great at eye make up so keep it pretty simple, but have always liked the idea of blending multi shades (tried a few times and looked like a horror show) but these were fantastic, quick and easy to use. Yes you do have to blend them a little and tidy up a little mess around edges but this is very quick and simple to do. Once I had neatened the look after I was pretty impressed and actually felt a little boost in confidence with the look I had achieved. They are a little expensive for the amount you get but I’d say well worth the money if you are just thinking of using them for special occasions/outings. Think carefully about the colour to suit though, I’m of a fairish complexion but found 01 Smokey a decent match.

I bought these to try as they seemed a novel idea but tbh I wasn’t expecting much and certainly not at the price. I tried them and I was amazed! I’m someone who generally spends a lot of time doing eye make up and like a good result. I applied, pressed, slid the pad a few millimetres and bosh! Job done - well nearly. I found that I needed to use a brush to blend the colours a little and neaten around the edges. But overall the effect was perfectly acceptable. As far as durability and wear goes well that surpassed all expectations. I got caught in the rain and I mean heavy ‘soak you to the skin’ rain, I was dripping but this eye make up never budged, no running, no smudging, nothing, it was as good when I arrived at the restaurant as when I set out.My advice to anyone using the pads is press firmly, slide a tiny bit and then blend with a brush. I’ll be ordering more, the powder quality is just as good if not better than many of the top brands I use.

I saw this and i love make up but no matter how many tutorials i watch on YouTube i couldn't put eye-shadow on it just looked a mess. I saw this product and i thought well i have nothing to lose. i got the smoky one and watched the tutorial very easy i swept it over my eye and i could not believe what i saw i blended it in but it didn't need very much. it looked so good and when i went to work people kept saying whats different about me i showed them my eyes and i took the pack of magic eye shadow with me and let them use it not one person didn't like it i am ordering some more colours cant wait.

Saw something similar and this was the cheapest I could find them. I had colour 1 Smokey grey. You get 5 pairs of pads. You press the pad to the shape of your eye and then drag outwards pressing it at the same time. But if a mess on the side of my head and underneath my eye, didn’t come off very easily. I blended it with my finger, after pressing it in a couple of time and I was please with the colour and results. Is it worth the money? Probably not when eyeshadow is cheaper. Is it worth a try? Absolutely! Will I buy it again? Maybe! I would try other colours but only if it’s less that £5.
