H-Squared TVTray Mount for Apple TV 2G-TVTRAY-X

This is a great product! This ATV2G is just too small to really have sitting anywhere if you ask me. I mounted it next to my router, which is also on the wall, behind my TV table (not visible). I use it with a Bose system, so I have the IR repeater running through the mount with the unit to hold it steady. The repeater sits on the face of the sensor without the need for adhesives to hold it in place. This lets me control the ATV through walls, but that's no a big deal since you can do the same with the Remote App. Anyway, I saw some reviews about the unit falling out of the mount, so after some tinkering, I opted to mount it for a side installation as opposed to a "up" mount or a "down" mount - which the manufacturer suggests. The "side" mount works well and I can see the I/O indicator from the side of my set up without having to pull stuff out of the way to get to it.

Nice idea, but not well executed. When mounting the bracket "on the wall" the Apple TV receiver box tends to slip through the flimsy open end bottom of the bracket, especially when you connect the power and HDMI cables which effectively add weight to the receiver box pulling it down even harder. I used a small piece of double sided tape to hold the Apple TV receiver in the bracket.

This product could use some refinement. It does not securely hold the AppleTV and the ball on the bottom of the mount is awful. I had to completely redesign this poorly thought out accessory. I had to remove the ball, lightly sand the glue away, cut the side pieces off so it would mount flush, add a screw and wing nut to prevent the appletv from sliding out, and some rubber non skid pieces to also help the AppleTV stay in place. For a piece of plastic I would expect much more for the price paid. Look at other options and do not buy something you have to redesign.

I bought a new Apple TV for my bedroom and placed 3 strips of 3M double sided tape and taped it to the back of my samsung TV, it worked like a charm. Two days later my H-Square arrived but it didn't work as expected. To start off the mount almost broke when tightening into place and there is only a small piece of plastic on the lower mount to hold the Apple TV in place so it slips right out. My best suggestion is get the 3M tape and mount it to the back of your tv.

Finally something thats firmly holds the Apple TV in place. A must with childeren in the house. Easy mountable, great finish would highly recommend this item.

I'm very pleased with the TVTray. Gives a clean look when you mount it next to your flat screen tv!! :-D

This product is cheaply constructed and would not snuggly hold my 3rd gen apple tv securely. I had to mount it sideways to ensure my apple tv wouldn't fall out of the mount.

This item kept my home theater in line with its pristine finished look. Its super easy to install and I have mine mounted under the Flat pannel on the wall, and the AppleTV remote indeed still works!

Als erstes möchte ich mich nochmals bei der Frau Nicole Decker bedanken für den super Service den ich erhalten habe. Die erste Ware war leider von DHL falsch ausgeliefert worden und dank der Frau Decker wurde mir die Ware nochmals zugeschickt. Also Besten Dank.Was jetzt die Ware betrifft, kann ich sagen dass die Halterung schön aussieht. Jedoch muss ich jeden darauf hinweisen dass, wenn man die Halterung an der Wand befestigt, dies nicht mit den mitgelieferten Dübeln machen soll da diese die Wand beschädigen. Dies war der Fall bei mir :(( Darum nur 4 Sterne.Ich kann also sagen, Halterung OK, Dübel KO und Service SUPER.

Le produit n'est pas mal en lui-meme (il est notamment tres facile à installer) mais eeux gros points noirs :- il est fragile (arrivé cassé chez moi)- il y a une grosse inscription "tv tray" sur le boitier, qui nuit vraiment au design très soigné de l'Apple TV...

Eigentlich bestellt mit der Meinung "Was man an der Wand anbringen kann, kann man auch am TV anbringen" - weit gefehlt. Außerdem grenzenlos überteuert.
