Great supplement, easy and safe to use
I've been really happy with this B12 supplement for my dog. It's easy to serve and the fact that it's chewable makes it convenient. I feel good knowing it's safe and made with high-quality ingredients. My pet seems to like the taste too. Plus, I appreciate that I can use it long-term and it's veterinarian recommended. Overall, a reliable product that supports my dog's health.

Excellent vitamin that works rapidly
This is an excellent source of vitamin b-12 and it works immediately. My dog needed this and I lept her on it after her vitamin levels improved and she loves chewing the tablet.

So Far, So Good!
I’ve got an almost 6 year old German Shepherd, a bit on the small side, pretty thin, and currently hovers at about 62 pounds, but has been as high as 73. His GI system has always been somewhat chaotic. He tested negative for EPI about 4 years ago, but it wasn’t until I actually saw the test results, that he was off the charts low for vitamin B-12. I spoke with a couple “experts” in the field and they weren’t reassuring of B-12 supplements. Two summers ago, his weight went up to 73 pounds. So, I started digging. What was so different about that summer. We had an exceptional wild blueberry crop, and the dogs spent hours grazing on blueberries. The mass of the berries had little to do with his weight gain, but research revealed that wild blueberries were high in B-12. I stress wild blueberries. I began searching for other natural sources of B-12 and beef liver is an excellent source, but one must be careful as to how much beef liver one feeds their dog. I’ve transitioned to frozen wild blueberries, continued with beef liver, spoke with my Vet and he said B-12 supplements might be the ticket. So, in a long winded way, I’m about 40 days into the experiment. I’ve been keeping records on his feeding, supplements, etc, hoping to stumble upon the holy grail. I’m continuing with the beef liver, 30-40 grams per evening meal along with a healthy amount of wild blueberries, and one tablet of B-12. Stools have been more consistently firm, and smaller in volume, and this during a time when dogs are getting into all matter of “stuff” in the woods they probably would be better off not eating (Spring thaw in the Northwoods of Minnesota). I merely drop a tablet into his food bowl, mix it up with everything else, and down the hatch it goes. I’m not expecting miracles, but so far so good!

B12 and All Is Well...
My Veterinarian wanted my dog to take a B12 supplement as she had a vitamin B deficiency. After doing a little research, I decided to go with the Nutramax Cobalequin B12 Supplement for my dog and so far, so good. Nutramax is a name I was already familiar with in pet supplements as I have been using their products for a long time now. I have been depending on the Nutramax Cosequin Glucosamine supplement for all my dogs over the years, so it was an easy decision to select this product. As it is a chewable, it is easy to administer and I don't have to hide it in a piece of cheese. I simply call out to my dog and let her know I have a "Treat" for her, and she comes running to get it! I guess my dog feels it tastes good (but I have not personally confirmed that :-). Sometimes I simply toss her daily chewable in her food bowl and that works just as well. Also, my dog has Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). She has a very sensitive stomach with various food items causing stomach flare-ups and this edible/chewable supplement does not seem to cause any added stomach problems. A good product, at a reasonable price, produced by a manufacturer that has been around for a long time and has a great reputation, and no stomach sensitivity issues, all contribute to making it an easy buying decision.

Quality supplement for my dog with low B12 test. She takes the pill with her food and seems to like the taste.
