I've used Flashseal to repair two leaking chimneys. It's very easy to "paint" on. If you want a nice straight edge just use some duct tape to tape off the chimney. I pretty much used a full gallon on each chimney. I'm so happy with the results that yesterday I used Flashseal to repair leaks on an enclosed trailer roof. I used the fiberglass tape and found it quite easy to cover with Flashseal. I can't speak for longevity yet but if it gets close to the 7 year guarantee I'll be very happy.

Finally found something other then caulking that seems to work. We have had leaky air vents that left a gap between the brick and wood , gave this a try and so far no more water leaks. Don’t know if we will have to reapply in a few years yet but so far so good.

So far it paints on as expected. I actually color mixed it with cement color, to match my shingle color, which worked out very well. I'm giving 5 starts for the application part of the product, but of course one can only tell in 5 or 10 years how it held up!

Can be messy hard to get off hands, but well worth it and very easy to use plus no leaks,

Great product I am a contractor have used it on several chimmney repairs and never had a call back that it was leaking.

Last week, April 30, 2022, my husband, son and brother used this, with the reinforcement fabric, after doing the crown seal. So far, 🤞🏾. Now, what truly pushed me to purchase this product, disregarding some bad video reviews, is their 7 year warranty (in picture), I received from Amazon upon request (after use). Now I’m a tad bit concerned. Reinforcement fabric ✅ Crown seal✅ Professional contractor to customer ❌ BS Warranty 🚫 If they were sure of their product, I don’t believe it would have that clause. I’m sure it’s to protect them from loons that try to beat the system and sue for everything but that still left me questioning the quality of this product, just a little. But no news is good news. I will update by this time next year if there’s bad news.
