Not Just Air
I had a Campbell & Hausfeld Air compressor that belonged to my son I used for about 10 year that I dearly loved and did not think it could be beat. Since my son now has a work area I wanted him to have it back. I found this one at Amazon but it came from CPO. The first thing is the shipping was great. Estes delivered it to my carport in perfect condition. The installation was easy except I had difficulty attaching a nipple to the tank. After numerous attempts I called PowerMate for help. I had no problem getting in touch with them even though it was a late Friday afternoon and they solved the problem with a new piece. The compressor is everything I wanted. It is quite, more pressure than the other compressor and I took my time setting it up like I wanted it.

Regulator would have been nice
Works pretty good would have rather had one with regulatorRegulator allows you to set a certain pound if pressure to maintain and then it would shut off to save electricity and noise level in house

A bang for your buck!
Delivery was quick! Compressor was mounted on a double wood platform and requires two men to ease it off-less it topples over. A hand truck is advised as it is heavy. I auto undercoated the bottom and added from the center (bottom) an extension using a 1/4 inch elbow and two piece of threaded pipe with sleeves so that I could easily reach down and let the air out after usage. This avoided crawling on my knees. I also placed tar paper on the batten wall in this garage/tool shed to keep moisture from blowing in.I added the Goodyear 50 foot 3/8 auto hose (heavy), cut off valve and 10' extension hose. You will need more than you think. Lastly I bought the rubber insulation mounts ($80.00), drilled holes in the concrete and set the pins in. Do not forget to blow the dust and dirt out of the holes before hammering the pins in. Compressor is quiet and I look forward to more painting. This was a good buy. Old Timer

After 5 years of use, very reliable.
Been using this unit for over 5 years now. No issues, runs great and very reliable. I use it in my wood shop and for auto repair. My pneumatic polisher requires 10 or 11 cfm and this unit keeps up with no problem. I have polished cars for hours with no issues from this compressor. I am very satisfied. Only possible issue, in an enclosed garage, the noise level is fairly high, so i do wear ear protection.

Definitely a good buy!
Excellent compressor handles everything I throw at it couldn't be happier!Purchased it for replacing the floor pans in my 61 Biscayne, cutting, grinding and sanding down the body it didn't bat an eye very happy!!
