Excellent Quality Cat Perch
This perch is great. We wanted something to allow our kitty the ability to be in the room where we are located without taking up a ton of room (like with a kitty condo/cat tree, which we already have in another room). Assembly was quick and easy. We chose the leopard print, which we think is much more stylish than the other print that was coming up as the "default" print. There is memory foam underneath the soft covering, providing a great amount of comfort for your cat. You can secure the perch via screwing it in, or with velcro strips (all hardware included). We chose the velcro option since we didn't want a permanent fixture. If you do, you will note that the instructions say to leave the strips in place for at least 24 hours BEFORE setting the perch up and that failure to do so will lessen the effectiveness of the adhesive...so make sure you do this and don't allow your kitty to use it before then. We didn't put the memory foam and cover on the unit until after the 24 hour period, otherwise it probably would have been too tempting for kitty. Since we installed it, our kitty has been using it at least once a day and it has become one of her favorite resting areas. The perch is very stylish looking and the neutral colors (primarily brown) will likely fit most decors.I did a lot of research for perches on Amazon and this one looked like the best by far. Happy we chose this one.

Great cat perch!
My cats love their cat perches! I bought this one and the Zebra print one. Both were extremely easy to install and much more attractive than the one I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. The only thing better about the one I bought from there was the length and it was slightly cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Two large cats can lie on that one but this will really only fit one cat at a time. They could both easily sit on it, but not lie down. These are very sturdy and hold up my 18 pound cat quite nicely. The pad is also much nicer than the one from BB&B. Would recommend to all my cat friends!

Cat is so happy now!
We have only been using the Deluxe Kitty Sill with Bolster for less than a week, but I have to say it is the best $30 I have ever spent for my cat. Before we even attached it to the window sill I had set it on a chair next to the window. He found it and slept in it for hours! We ended up screwing it to the sill, as I didn't want to trust the Velcro strips. It is sturdy and looks pretty nice. I have a bed warmer by the same maker K&H Manufacturing Pet Bed Warmer Small 8.5-Inch by 8.5-Inch 4 Watts that we used under a blanket for the cat all winter. I simply slipped it underneath the cover, ran the cord underneath, and now the bed is heated too! My cat loves it, he looks sublimely happy curled up in the window. I did turn the cover around so the bolster is on the outside, and that seems to work best. Don't hesitate, make your cat happy and get them this Window Sill Perch!

Finally, cat not afraid...
I've had this cute, Leopard print window bed for about 3 weeks - and today is first day my kitty (under 10 lbs.) is actually laying on it. Yes, I had to gently place him on there for an umpteenth time, but victory! (and this coming from a cat who jumps daily on my building's two story roof, lol.)It was fairly easy putting together (although instructions are not that great.) And based on reviews, I actually bought even better Velcro - called Xtreme outdoor. Don't be fooled by the "outdoor" for rough surfaces - it works perfectly well indoors, too. My windows face directly south and super sunny during summer (or anytime the sun is out.)The Xtreme Outdoor Velcro I am using protects the "sticky part" from UV rays, that is another reason I purchased, rather than heavy duty Velcro version. Also, I bought the package of 4" long pieces (1" wide), and for even more reinforcement, I laid three in a row on backside - I felt K&H's reserved spot for only two pieces of Velcro seemed skimpy.I still hesitate if this little window bed is going to topple over or not (I don't want to drill holes on my window ledge) - but I do push down and check on it every so often to make sure it's still sturdy - and now that my cat is finally laying on it, I will check a few times a week!I do prefer the cover bolster facing outward (it just looks nicer) - but alas, our furry friends dictate, right? Now that I reversed, I think my kitty prefers - so for now, he wins!As other viewers said, the legs are cheap looking (they are plastic and painted a yellow/beige color.) I probably will spray paint to blend in wall color better - but for now, it's not too bad. The cheesy plastic bothers me more than the color.NOTE TO K&H - make a version with wooden legs (maybe espresso brown color, golden oak, white pine) - charge more and give your customer leg choices.I would pay more $$ in a heartbeat - because the legs quality do not match the nice quality of the fabric/bedding itself - but I am happy at least main part you see all the time is well made AND, I love the zipper and easy on/off for the cover - and washability is very important. Also, contrary to what some other viewers said, the Leopard print is adorable. Maybe offer a few more animal print choices (I am partial to exotic animal prints, though :-)I knocked down only one star because of the plastic and cheap looking legs - and for not providing the right kind of Velcro (super duper strong!) - otherwise, the design of this cat window seat is a 5-star - but please work on the other Issues that I and other viewers brought up.And snapping the legs in position should be easier, but reviewers gave some handy tips. And now here is one more from me - push the legs in while placing against your body - that helped a lot, as you need to push hard and my body reinforcement really helped - then it was a snap to push legs in :-)Meow and thank you.UPDATE: After about 4-months of almost daily use, even the strongest velcro I used gave way. I saw it happen and my cat (mostly outdoors) just went with the flow - again, this is a cat who fly's onto our roof (and still don't know how he gets up there) - so a little fall from the window sill was nothing for him. He wasn't even scared when it happened. I just didn't want to drill holes (and still don't) onto my sill, so I took the bed away. I need to bring back, though, as kitty cat uses my lap and while I love him to death, he needs his own space again :-)) So yes, for those who don't mind drilling holes in their sill, that is best way to keep this window bed up permanently!

Do not like new design
I have had a previous one for years that my cats loved and used everyday. It was worn out so I ordered a new one . I am so ticked off the company decided to sew an ugly rubber label ON THE TOP OF THE BED!! The first thing my cat did was bite it and try to pull it off! I might return it, Amazon is understanding and said I could for free. Great bed but not at all happy with new label that could have been sewn on the back!Update: I took a seam ripper and very carefully was able to remove the plastic tag!

Happy kitties, happy owner.
We have had no issues with this product yet. It has been several months since we installed it and the cats use it daily. We chose to screw it into the windowsill instead of chance it with velcro. These are a bit wider than our windowsills, but they still fit just fine. It fits snuggly against the wall and there has been no wobble. The cats used it immediately after they were pulled out of the box. We had to evict one cat just to install it. We also placed their normal round beds on top of the platforms. This was a worthwhile purchase.
