I have been using this soap for 50 years. Good stuff. I have never reviewed it before because I always bought it at my local stores. They have been out of stock on it for a while so I finally caved and ordered it from the one place that seems to have everything in stock most of the time. This amazing place.So here's my review: this soap has always been high quality. I alternate between the lavender bars, and the peppermint. I also use the peppermint liquid soap they make. That was the first Dr. Bronner product I discovered. These soaps leave my skin refreshed and tingling, especially the peppermint. I first started buying this stuff at a health food store back in the day. Dr. Bronner was still alive then and we used to love reading all the inspirational words he had written on each bottle. It gave us something to do in the shower. He would put his phone number on them. One time I decided to call it. The phone rang and then a guy picked it up. I said I was calling for Dr. Bronner. He said: yeah, that's me.Unbelievable!~I talked to him for about ten minutes. Told him how much I love his products. He was super nice. When we were done talking he asked me for my address. I gave it to him. A couple of weeks later I got a large box mailed to me. It contained a dozen large bottles of his liquid peppermint soap. There was a note inside asking me to share it with my friends to help him get the word out. So I did. And I have bought his stuff ever since. I became a customer for life. I probably would have been anyway but his act of generosity impressed me so much. Dr. Bronner blew my mind when he sent me all that free soap.
