As a teacher, I wanted to buy something that could handle larger formats (11x17), did not take forever to warm-up or to laminate, and was not going to be too expensive. I have actually been shopping for two years. Either items were too expensive or were rated as junk or inconsistent. Mine just arrived today. I have been thoroughly impressed. I pulled it out of the box and started. The only thing I need to know was which end to feed the document into. I quickly ran 12, 8-1/2 x 11 sheets (40-pound weight) through the machine with 5 mil Scotch brand laminating pouches. Worked like a charm. No jams, no delays, no overheating. I'm looking forward to using this for quite some time!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is my first lamintor and it was so easy to use. The instructions aren't the best but it's pretty easy to figure out. I had no issues with the lamintor working. It comes with the lamintor paper in four different sizes which is a great starter to have. There are also really cute accessories that I didn't expect to love so much. Definitely worth the purchase.

Lamination pouches stick great together once heat laminated. Also a choice of laminating cold!! Smooth, clear pages with no jagged edges. The attached paper cutter cuts smoothly also. 5 stars all the way!!

My husband finally bought me a laminator to have a home for my classroom projects. I never thought it would be this easy to use. It heated up in about 3 minutes and ran the paper through by itself. It was that easy. The quality of the laminating is better then our school laminator. I am super excited to have this a part of my school One of my first projects was to laminate my classroom jobs. They came out beautiful and in seconds.

I normally do not write reviews so this one is special. I received this after having experience with other laminators and wanted one personally for my classroom. It was super easy to set up and get going. I was laminating like crazy. I really like it. It’s a good product. No problems.

I purchased this to “setup a preschool” in our house for our boys due to covid. I wanted the items durable to withstand them and time.The first time I warmed it up I could smell a burning type smell. However, didn’t smell anything anytime after the initial heating. It’s pretty straightforward. Plug in, turn on pick hot or cold, wait for the green light and start using. I used hot only so far. Slowly feed the pouch in (sealed side first) and you’ll feel the wheels catch it and start feeding through on it’s own. It hasn’t jammed or stopped on me yet. The corner rounder is hit or miss. I can’t find any consistency on when it works great and when it doesn’t work well that I have to trim the corner with scissors. I do like there is place for it on the laminator so it won’t get misplaced. The slicer on top was a “must” as I didn’t want items all over. However, the laminator gets warm (really not surprising when you think about it) so you really don’t want to be laminating and slicing at the same time. I did all the laminating for a project and than later did the slicing/trimming. Slicer is okay. Not the best not the worst. That being said I used mostly 5 mil pouches. I haven’t used the hole punch it came with. Don’t really like that it doesn’t have anywhere to attach to on the laminator; like the corner rounder. The pouches that came with the laminator got crushed during travel and have creases I’m sure won’t come out fully. They appear to be 3 mil. They’re definitely less than 5 mil.Overall happy with the product, will be keeping it. However, if I was shopping for a laminator again I might not be so concerned with the slicer on top.

This thing can take 9 x 12.5 (double check exact)....with the 3 mil. lamin. pouches It is far superior to the one we have on our campus, and so light that I can take it home. I got the "Amazon Basics" first (also great machine) but decided I needed a little bit bigger machine. This was the answer! I accidentally left it on today for 2-3 hrs so I sent thru a " dummy" sheet in case it melted or burned anything....it came out just beautifully!! [I do not recommend leaving it on~~if at work, your boss cld rightfully get very angry!]The 3 mil. jackets work just great!! I had trouble with the A3 laminator eating my important projects...on the weekends and late nights when I cld not probably contact their customer service. No one in the reviews seemed to have that problem, but I returned anyway and found this product instead. I was not going to take any chances. Maybe I got the lemon, but....when it got hot even for a little bit, it ate my documents and student work. Not cool.This one has been a work horse so far. I never left the A3 on, on accident, like I did today, so when it came out fine, I thought I should share my great review of this laminator! Good luck shopping! I wish I had never waited so many years to buy my own. I have already saved so many personal hours by not trying to use the big machine on our school campus! These smaller machines have the 3 mil. option, while at work it's probably 1 mil, and doesn't heat up high enough and ends up falling apart.Good luck making your decision. For a smaller one, the "Amazon Basics " does a great job as well!! Tried and true!!

Just received this laminator yesterday. I’ve already used it several times, and every page has come out perfect. Plug it in, turn it on, wait for it to heat up, can you send your pages through. It couldn’t be easier!

Machine does not come with an Australian plug and is not rated for 240 volt power even though it says it is. Ours tried to burn the house down. Cheep and nasty but then you get what you pay for..
