Rich aroma and pure taste – truly authentic ghee
I’ve tried many brands of ghee, but this one stands out for its quality and flavor. The aroma is fresh and natural, just like homemade ghee prepared the traditional way. It blends beautifully with everything — from cooking curries to drizzling over rotis or even adding to morning coffee. The texture is smooth and the golden color shows its purity. It also comes in neat, leak-proof packaging that keeps it fresh for a long time. Definitely worth the price if you care about authentic taste and quality. Highly recommended!

The ghee that won me over!
I an giving this a one star review because I strong suspect the ghee I ordered and received is adulterated. At 23deg C this ghee doesn’t thicken and is like thin pouring consistency- like one expects of oil. I compared the consistency with another A2 brand I use called Praakritik and there is big difference in consistency. I wish I could have uploaded videos here to show people this. While the smell and flavor are good enough I don’t believe this ghee is pure and as such I cannot recommend it given the price. The other raving reviews against it are very misleading. Purchase at own risk. —.....—-....—-..... [update as of Jan 19, 2020] I am editing this review now because I have since changed my mind about this product. Over the last couple of days, the consistency of this ghee has become thicker and more settled and it is no longer as runny as it was on the day that it arrived. Since I am now happy with its texture - plus the overall packaging, information provided, colour and taste are pretty good - I am now changing the rating to a 5 and a ‘will recommend to other buyers’ The founders at Team Anveshan, were prompt to get in touch to address my concerns on reading my initial review and even offered to set it right by offering a replacement jar for my peace of mind. However, I opted to stick with the jar I received because by now it looked and tasted pretty fine to me. For a start up company working to empower Indian farmers and bring fresh farm products to homes, they do believe in a high level of customer service. I am impressed with their ability to answer questions with no problems and share knowledge - an obvious reflection of their commitment and passion towards their product. For other buyers reading this review and initially finding themselves with the same concerns I did - perhaps you might find it helpful to know that the melting and crystallization of fats can get affected by weather and temperature conditions during transit and that while this may have some apparent, but temporary, impact on the texture/consistency of ghee bought over the internet (especially if you end up comparing it against the smooth and homogeneous texture of store bought ghee), it doesn’t affect the quality, taste, shelf life or genuineness of the ghee which arrives in a sealed jar. At my request, the Anveshan team even shared home testing solutions but assured me that they run every batch through stringent quality testing before it reaches customers. So recommending this ghee to anyone looking for something that is not subpar and trustworthy.Go buy and enjoy!

Very Disappointing Experience with Anveshan Cow Ghee
I want to share my honest experience with Anveshan Cow Ghee, and unfortunately, it has been extremely disappointing. I wish I can give negative Stars. Initially, I purchased one-time (non-subscription) Anveshan cow ghee, and that product was genuinely good in quality, aroma, and texture. Based on that positive experience, I decided to start a subscription. However, after starting the subscription, the quality dropped drastically. The ghee delivered under subscription is completely liquid, even in Central India winter temperatures (~7°C). I regularly use another trusted desi cow ghee brand, which solidifies properly under the same conditions. There is no aroma, no natural ghee smell, and the texture feels unnatural and poor. It honestly appears adulterated or heavily processed, unlike the original product I bought earlier. I am not claiming that all cow ghee must be solid, but when: temperature is low, aroma is missing, texture is watery, and quality is inconsistent compared to the first batch, …it raises serious doubts about product purity and consistency. What’s most concerning is that: The first non-subscription product was good The subscription product is completely different and inferior This feels like different quality products are being sent to subscription customers, which is unacceptable. I have documented the product, uploaded images, and have also sent the ghee for lab testing. I will share the test results soon. Anveshan seriously needs to work on quality control and transparency. If subscription customers are receiving inferior products, trust will be lost very quickly. My advice: Until Anveshan addresses this issue seriously, I do NOT recommend buying this product, especially via subscription. Quality inconsistency in food products—especially something as sensitive as ghee—is simply not acceptable.

Twice a year I bring Kapila ghee from Mangalore, Yogashram which is the best ghee in the world. Anveshan ghee from Zebu breed is as good as you can get. It is 100% pure, non-adulterated desi ghee. Kindly recommended 🙏

On multiple occasions, the order has been incorrect. When I placed an order for Hallikar Cow ghee, the incorrect order was received. On the first occasion, the order was Gir cow ghee, and on the second occasion, it was Desi cow ghee, which is not even A2. Regrettably, there is no return policy. When I reached out to Anveshan support, instead of resolving the issue, they informed me that they had sent a different ghee because it is better suited for the weather in the United States. I am deeply disappointed with both the product and the support provided.
