A friend at the gun club has two and loves them so I bought it to see for myself. It's everything that I expected - EXCEPT for the front sight. The doc show a standard Glock front sight ... the one I got had an all black front sight. I emailed them and got a new Glock front sight in a very short time. It was easy to install - you will need the 13mm Glock tool to screw it in tho.My trigger skills have drastically improved with this device. AND I can sit on the couch and practice any time I want.Lots of shots but no wasted ammo, no cleaning and it's totally silent.Good doc and videos. Everything is adjustable. A real nice package - 5 stars.BTW, my friend has two because he's a comp shooter - only difference is the trigger pull ... one is set very low and the other at max.

An amazing dry fire and reload training tool. Can't wait to try it out with a webcam and software.Be aware the weighted mags are no longer adjustable. You can do 17 rounds fully loaded, or empty. There is no 10 round or in between weight option.The sights are not exactly competition grade, but they can be replaced although I have not done so. I painted some nail polish on the front sight to increase contrast indoors and make sure I have enough light so I can see through the rear notch past the front sight.Minor complaint is that there are some rough edges on the backstrap. Nothing you can't sand down, but I haven't gotten to it. The trigger is smooth though. I haven't tried adjusting the trigger. I leave it heavy to make my real guns seem easier to shoot.

The weight, size, feel, etc. makes this a very good training tool. For the cost of these pistols I would think they could put better sights on them though. This thing costs almost as much as a real Glock and the first thing you notice is that you get these cheap plastic black on black sights that make it very unrealistic and difficult to sight up properly. I had some old Glock sights so I took this pistol apart and broke off the cheap black sights and put ones on that I could at least see. Heck, even in the instructional videos that come with the SIRT you can see that they have different sights than what the gun comes with. Besides that, I find it very helpful to work on your shooting techniques.

The number one secret to accuracy when shooting a pistol is trigger control, and the SIRT pistol is an irreplaceable training aid. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but considering the cost of ammunition (and range time), I think it pays for itself in its first few months. The alternative is to dry fire, but you don't get the trigger reset that way, and there's the inherent risk associated with using a real firearm in the house, no matter how slight if you take safety seriously.The SIRT pistol is particularly effective for me because I shoot Glocks, and the training gun is modeled after the G17. I'm not sure if the benefit would be the same for people who prefer other platforms. If they're smart, the manufacturer will design a SIRT gun on a 1911 frame.

Although this product will help you improve grip, trigger control and alignment; I cannot give it 5 stars as it broke in less than 30 days of use. The most important part broke, the trigger.When you product sells more than a brand new 3rd gen block, it better be reliable.I tried to fix it myself, but the internals are very cheap. Staff was friendly and Next Gen, but when I asked for a replacement while they repaired mine, they said they didn't do that.Would I buy it again, maybe; the product quality really needs to improve.

Absolutely love this training pistol. Great for working on the fundamentals and drills. Plan on getting the L.A.S.R System to complement it. It fits all of my g-code GLOCK holsters and has the weight and feel of a g17. Trigger slack and pull are very close to Glocks. I use it to warm up before training - saves you tons in ammo.Bestseller21 got it to me quick and in great shape - got it within a week of ordering and I live in Southern California

My headline says it all. With the shortage and the high price of ammunition, this is a good addition to anyone's training schedule. For the price of a case of ammunition, you get years of practice time. But, this review is more about the seller, BravoTac then the pistol. After ordering, the pistol arrived much sooner then expected, but it did not work. I emailed BravoTac, they responded immediately. They contacted the manufacturer twice on my behalf and a new pistol came in the mail with a return shipping label to return the defective one. With many sellers, customer service is a thing of the past. Not so with BravoTac. They stayed on top of this problem from the beginning. I recommend them and would buy from them in the future, and so should you.
