Remflex2006 Exhaust Gasket for Chevy V8 Engine, (Set of 2)

Good product n highly recommended of your manifold or header isn't perfect.

Best header to engine gaskets out there. Had a set of headers on a car and I could not keep them from leaking. Tried double gaskets, copper gaskets and even soaking the paper style ones and they all leaked. As a last ditch effort I tried these and the did not leak at all. When I finally got some new headers with my new engine I used these gaskets and threw away the ones that came with the headers. Would highly recommend!

There’s things seal great

This is my second set, I liked the first set I’ve had for a year on one of my other cars, so I bought a set for another project.

I have an engine that tends to blow out the exhaust gasket. The mechanic said the thin gasket doesn't compress enough.The REMFLEX gasket is particularly useful.It is made of a graphite material which transfers heat quickly so there should not be any problem with expansion.WHEN HOT, DO NOT TOUCH ANY EXPOSED GASKET MATERIAL, if you do, you will understand my warning.The Gasket is about 1/8" thick and compresses when you bolt down the manifold. It fills any voids that are on the surface, makes it perfect for older engines.But it does have the same weakness that the oem gaskets have such as rapid expasion when a hot engine is splashed with water ( say a flooded road), both gasket material can be blown out when the pressure upon the gasket material is relaxed. Its just common sense.I do recommend this Remflex Gasket, especially if you have an older engine that tends to blow the gasket out, this will fit correctly and hold the seal better.I am not associated with this seller nor did I receive any product or monies for my independant review.181027 1447

This was used on a SBC. It went on easily and so far is working perfectly, without any leaks. I can highly recommend this.

These are by far the best header gaskets you can get.I had copper gaskets that leaked terrible. But these soft gaskets fit great. No leaks!

Great product. Good material. It is fragile so be careful. The plastic seal on one end of the package had broken and one gasket fell out. When it hit the ground, the end was damaged.
