Check the diameter of the center opening
This item could have an even smaller diameter opening in the center. I still feel that small pans or coffeemakers may be unsteady on this. Otherwise, it's a great item.

Stamped iron, not cast iron. Toxic smell from paint on first use.
Description is false advertising. This product is not made of cast iron, but rather it is stamped. This is OK, but the manufacturer decided to use a paint not meant for high heat, and it smells really bad and unhealthy when used the first time.I'd recommend throwing it in a campfire or sand blasting it before the first use, and then if you want to prevent rust, spray it with BBQ paint or something meant for high heat.

Great little gadget!
My daughter sent me a stovetop espresso unti from Italy, but it was too small for even my smallest burner on my gas range. This makes it perfect! It stays in place and has not warped in the 6 months I've used it. Highly recommend!

Not as described
This item is the appropriate size and shape for the intended purpose, but it is covered with paint that is not meant to be exposed to an open flame. As soon as the burner is turned on it smokes horribly as the paint is being burned off. Too bad, this item seemed to fit my needs but could not use it and it ended up getting tossed.

Worst kind of item I have purchased
The coat over the product is completely got out and started rusting and debris are getting into my expensive burner. I am totally disappointed with product and Dollars I have paid.

Fatal al abrir el paquete estaba deformada y a la primera usada se le salió la pintura.
No es lo que se veía en la compra, estaba deformado, doblado, al prender la estufa comenzó a salir mal olor, consumirse la pintura.
