Chef CodeMen's Chef Coat with Side Vents

Meh. It’ll do the job and hold out until you buy better.
Okay coat. Gets by. Fits loose and baggy but not a bad thing. Button holes weren’t all cut and stitched to be able to button up without cutting them open a bit more. Also no bleach no contact recommended. Splashed a sani bucket on it and it discoloured immediately. So there’s that. It looks nice. Provides cover and look but that’s it. Also didn’t expect much for $12. Threads in the seams are cotton so expect them to shrink and ravel up like a cheap towel.

Second utility pocket on sleeve is useless
Overall this coat was durable and comfortable. I wore it through our mothers day dinner and it held up nicely. I gave it three stars because the utility pocket on the second sleeve is useless and combersome . I generally store my thermo and pens in my left shoulder pocket and my note pad in a chest utility pocket. There is no way a pad or phone or anything will stay on that other utility pocket on the sleeve so I would recommend just putting the second pocket on the front chest like the back vented coats . Other than that this is a nice cost for the price but if/when I order another one I will order the vent back instead of the side vent one .

Nice Fit
Really nice fit and comfortable. Recieved some compliments on it. I also had a R E D flag sewn on it that looks great.

Buy it.
I bought this for my husband who is a kitchen manager. He says it fits perfectly and he really likes the vented sides. Really helps in the hot kitchen.

Pleasantly Surprised
I love these jackets, I initially purchased these to be back-up jackets for situational use but after trying On I found the build quality to be excellent as well as the fabric very comfortable and lightweight. I will purchase more for summertime use.

Looks nice, poor quality.
Great color and comfortable to wear. Coat fits well. Not for long term or everyday use, seams on vents started to come loose after a few washes. Great for events or as a prop. If you’re looking for a uniform coat I would invest more in something different.

Great shop smock for the money
I bought 3 of these to use a shop smocks in my woodshop. The mesh sides offer unrestricted movement and ventilation. It's great when I'm working on the lathe.Wood chips don't cling to it and the high front keeps the chips from getting under the shirt at the neck. There's even a narrow vertical pocket in the left sleeve for my pencil! LolMuch cheaper than a wood turners smock.Love 'em!

Comfy
I work as a line cook and finding a good shirt that's ventilated is somewhat difficult. Especially for my size and height. Originally, I thought it was going to be itchy, but after it's first wash, it was so much more comfortable. My boss saw the shirt and he loves it! He actually started recommending it to our other cooks.
