Wiring is simple. The LED power is separate from the three switch contacts, normally open, normally closed and common. This allows the switch to control voltage is different than the LED lamp requires.I was surprised at the brightness of the LED at 5 V. It was easily seen in standard room lighting. At 12 V it is very bright indeed. At 12 V the LED draws 8 mA. This particular switch model is push on push off. While in the on position, the button is recessed inwards.

I love these switches. They are perfect for wiring in a kill switch in cars (a relay must also be used. They can be wired NO or NC. The wire colors are a bit unconventional but a sheet is included that shows where each wire should go. If you are familiar with schematics its easy to figure out how to wire it for your needs. These switches appear OE once installed, very nice appearance. I would recommend using a step bit to drill the hole with so you don't drill a hole that's too large. The switch isn't rated for much amperage so it's best used alongside a relay (put the switch on the control side of the relay) so you don't fry the switch.

It was easy exactly as described.

Perfect for controlling LED lights in a car. The button feels solid with an audible click and feel when you press it. Wiring can be confusing at first but search up some YouTube videos and you're good to go.

Like the product, it is a little small though. Using it on a homemade Bluetooth boom box

Some of the ring light were not 16mm diameter. Otherwise a great item. Recommend getting the wiring harness with the switch.

works great! installed on my daughter's Power Wheels as a start-stop switch and another to control lights. easy to install, wire, and use.

Very straight forward wiring. Used for external power banks for my chartplotter on my boat.
