Loud popping noise makes it almost unusable!
I would give it 5 stars if it was not for a very loud popping sound heard whenever buttons are pressed. This is absolutely awful and it makes the adapter almost useless (it is still usable if you keep playing tracks continuously). Believe it or not, this problem happens with a lot of people (google "ad-15 popping noise")Buy an iPod instead!

Brings your Nokia into the modern age!
For some deranged reason I wanted to connect my Nokia 6800a to a 3.5mm headset. So I bought the AD-15 and slapped it onto my Nokia 6800a. I must say the adapter works. Maybe not as great as I hoped, but well enough to get sound out of the Nokia 6800a. Getting sound into the Nokia 6800a was a challenge, but that was much less important than getting sound out. If you are still using a Nokia handset that has a pop-port this is about your only option to attach it to modern audio equipment.

Very nice adapter allows you to use standard headphones
I still use my old Nokia 6126 to listen to music when I go out for a jog and I've been using the Nokia headset with answering mechanism to listen to my music. The Nokia headset is reliable but the music comes thru flat and no bass. The main advantage is that you can answer your calls and speak with that headset.I recently came across this Nokia headset adapter and decided to give it a try. The item fit nicely on my Nokia phone and using a stereo headphone, the music came thru rich and vibrant, I was really impressed. The main gripe is that you cannot use this headset to answer your calls. The second minor gripe is that the attachment port is kind of bulky(and puts unneccessy wieght on the wiring). But otherwise this is a great accessory for those still using old Nokia model phones.

Inexpensive and works well
I was really annoyed to learn that my Nokia "music player" cell phone had a funky proprietary connection that required an adapter to use standard ear phones. However, this item solved my problem. It is still wrong of Nokia to produce products that cannot be used without optional accessories (a tidbit of information they leave out when selling the phone), but this adapter was inexpensive and I have nothing negative to say about the seller of this product.

Great way to use high quality headphones for your MP3 listening
The Nokia stereo earbuds leave a lot to be desired. With this adapter, you can use any earbuds or audiophile headphones you like. I can assure you that high bit-rate MP3s on my 6682 phone sounds GREAT through Bose Triport headphones. Highly recommended if you plan to use your Nokia as a regular, personal music listening device.

For your favorite headphones
After putting up with carrying around the default Nokia headphones for a while, I finally got around to buy this accessory. The good side, you get to use your favorite headphones with your Nokia. The not so good side, it's probably a bit bigger than it needs to be (Nokia plug and 3.5mm socket could've been merged, I don't know). It's a good solution for Nokias without a 3.5mm socket. One thing I've noticed is the ring tone does not go through the headphones, but straight to the cellphone speaker. It's probably a good thing to prevent you from going deaf, depending on your current ring tone selection.

Authentic and works well
I have a Nokia 6126, and this headset adapter works beautifully. The stereo quality is good, although there's some white noise probably because of the design of the cell phone. Construction is good, but I imagine one day the wire connecting the two pieces will wear out from use and become spotty, like most headphone wires do.As the warning on Nokia's site mentions, you can use this adapter to listen to calls, but the microphone is disabled while headphones are plugged in.The only thing better than this would be for Nokia to open its hardware so that anyone can make an adapter like this. Unfortunately, they want to be the only one making money off them.
