Works! AC works better now!
I had no idea that the fins on a window air conditioner could be repaired, and that it would bring the unit back to peak efficiency. This thing is the bomb. We keep our window shakers in the closet in the off season, and they get pretty dinged up. Between using the spray on coil cleaner and then combing the fins back into shape, it's like they are new again. Totally worth it. And, cheap enough it's worth a shot, right?

Maybe multiple smashed air conditioner fins are just hard to realign.

Useless for window units
I bought this for the sole purpose of straightening fins on a window unit, but the teeth arent fine enough to fit in between the fins. Useless.

Be careful around any type cooling fins .
Liked: multi sizes and can be used on various sizes.Disliked: couple of the comb teeth pulled out while using it. However in all fairness the cooling fins were extensively damaged.

Was too big for my coils
Seems sturdy. Wish I had saved the packaging so I could return. The smallest ones were stillToo big for my heat pump

Restored my system!
The repair company wanted to sell me a new ac System for $8000. Someone suggested I begin by straightening out the fins. This tool did the job and system is back to working well. If fins are not aligned well air cannot pass through them resulting in poor performance. This tool restores proper spacing of fins in an easy to use design
