Nice looking, but arrived broken.
I was surprised when I opened the box and found such a nice looking umbrella. The all wood construction, and the pulley and string to raise it was a bonus. People under about 5'8" will need to stand on a chair to insert the pin to hold it up though. The quality seemed on par with the price. The wood was cracked and didn't seem that it would last more than a season or two. Alas, it arrived with one of the ribs broken. They are picking it up for free, but I wonder if they will refund my shipping?I'm going for one now that tilts and may step up to a hand crank.

It's the cheapest piece of garbage I've ever purchased in my life
I never take the time to write reviews but felt compelled to here. This umbrella is horrific. It's the cheapest piece of garbage I've ever purchased in my life. Goes to show you you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and spend the additional $50-100 and get a normal functional patio umbrella.

This umbrella broke within a week of use
Very disappointed with the quality of this item. The wood is extremely low quality, the spoke broke after a week. The flimsy wire which hold the spoke at the top severe the wood and the whole thing sag down.The pole join is also very weak, cause the pole to be crooked. Amazon should check the quality of the product before it sells to customer

Patio umbrella.
The size and the color were what I needed and didn't want to spend much money. But you get what you pay for. The quality of fabric wasn't real nice, with some strings and threads hanging. It will do ok, but I definitely needed to protect it in the garage for the winter.

Nice and simple
the price was right! To put the umbrella up you need to pull a string and then put a toggle into a hole. A bit primitive but it works well. I can do without complicated if it means saving some money. Nice color.

Not well put together, but OK considering the cost
Fairly disposable umbrella. I don't think it will make it through the summer, the threading is already unraveling. I did not expect it to be up to the quality of my other umbrellas for the amount of money, it did not exceed expectations.

poor quality
I took a chance without seeing quality when I received it I wasn't happy with quality after a month one of the arms broke off I returned it after that shipper gave me a full refund
