Not trying to share my age but she was part of the beginning of MTV and I just wish she had put out more I'm slowly collecting the CD of the artist from that same time period that I really liked and I know they're popular so I have to keep them in a safe lol

if you're wanting all the 80s and 90s songs that are playing in your head from your teenage years, this is the CD!!! great quality disc, excellent songs. All original Cindy Lauper songs.

I enjoy Cyndi Lauper's music for two different reasons: I love the liveliness, cheerfulness, and loveable kookiness she injects into her pop numbers that are so identified as "Cyndi's own sound" and you come away with a feeling of happiness when listening to her "fun" songs.As a change of pace, I love her quietly sweet, sensitive portrayals that tell the "stories behind the music" in her ballads.Well worth getting for your collection! I received a wonderful product at a great price from Amazon.

No need to buy any other Cyndi music- this really is the definitive collection & best.... she really is an amazing artist; certainly deserves much more credit than often given. The quality of this product is superb.

Good compilation but not complete. The most disapointing thing is the version of Time after time. I would have prefered the original version instead of the acoustic one with Sarah McLachlan. On the other side at the moment it's the only compilation where you can find Into the nightlife, a very good dance track from 2008.
