Look at the pictures closely and take your time assembling.
When attaching u-shaped handle, looking down the shaft from hand grip to cutter, insert the bolt from the left side with knob on the right side. 50/50 chance of doing it wrong, but if you do it wrong, the bolt isn't long enough. Thought the nut was loose in the knob and fell out. Found the knob was threaded, I was wrong. Thought the bolt was too short, knew Worx was better than that. Found a nut shaped recess on left side, put bolt through from that side and it was long enough. Knob has the same recess is why I thought nut fell out while I was assembling. A picture is not always worth a thousand words. Some of us dummies need it spelled out for us. PS: Not paying attention, I put the top third of handle on upside down, easy fix.

Very easy to put together and operate
Very easy to put together and easy to use. I’m 5’ 3” 115 lbs female and was able to edge around the driveway and walkway where no edging was done in the last 10 years. It was not too big or heavy at all for me. I added some before and after pictures. They are not of the exact same spot but it’s the same driveway.1. Do not use when the ground is wet or when it’s raining;2. Start slowly until you get a hang of it;3. Wear gloves.

Pretty good especially for the price
Works better than expected. My yard hadn’t been edged in years so I was concerned this would not have enough power yet I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a gas powered edger. Although I had to force it in some extremely thick areas, it performed well, until the blade came loose. Using a 5/8 ratchet and a pair of pliers, I was able to retighten it. I have a very long driveway so only plan on edging it once every other week. I’m pretty sure there’ll be much less forceful pushing using it to maintain vs how bad my yard was. Overall I’d recommend it.

Does the trick!
Pros: A great investment if you’re looking for a more professional touch. I’ve used gas edgers in the past and didn’t have high expectations for a corded unit, but this all but weightless little dude impressed with its power and performance. Although incredibly happy with my first pass, I’m 100% confident that each further usage will only clean it up better. A little back & forth in the denser soil, but no big deal. Moreover, once you get the excess soil out the first time you won’t have to deal with it again.Cons: The angle of the lever is not adjustable, and anyone taller than 5’ 10” will have to lean forward a little bit. However, it’s very light and manageable so this shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Enjoy the fruits of your labor while neighbors walk/drive by and take notice of your tidy lawn.

Powerful Edger
I was on the fence whether to buy a cordless or an electric edger. I have an older Mantis 2 cycle tiller (that's not working so well anymore), which I was using for edging. What a difference! The Worx Electric Edger is awesome. The edging of the sidewalk hadn't been properly done for a couple of years, and the guide blade of the Worx makes this edging much better than my Mantis tiller/edger. It now looks very professional. The cords were a bit of a pain (I used three long extension cords), but well worth it. The price was right. I've tried (in the past) a cordless edger, but it wasn't as powerful as this Worx Edger. I can't compare it to the Greenworks cordless 80v edger, which I considered buying. Overall, I'm glad I bought the Worx. After all, you only use the edger for your sidewalk 2-3 times a year, so taking out the cords is not a big deal.

Very pleased with this versus my old gas-engine edger
I replaced a gas edger with this item. The gas edger was hard to start, took up a lot of space in the garage, and was not easy to use.I had a great first experience with this edger today. I needed to cut through some dense ornamental grass roots on the side of my driveway, and this handled the job nicely. Some effort was needed to push the machine, but it is light and easy to maneuver. Next, I edged around the rest of my driveway, curb, and sidewalk. It had been more than a year since my last edging. It did a fine job. My old gas edger had a longer blade and cut a bit deeper, but this was so much easier to use. It cleaned up nicely and easily, and then I hung it from a hook in my garage until next time.I have plenty of extension cords and outlets, and using a corded model was not an issue. I've had some other corded lawn equipment that was a pain because of back-and-forth patterns that were needed. Edging is just a couple of straight lines, and the cord did not get in the way or become a pain. I'm happy I saved the money on a corded model vs. buying a more expensive one that required a custom battery and charger.

Good if you're not tall.
The unit itself works great. My only issues are I am tall (6'3") but the handle length would indicate that it's designed for people 5-5 and under. Fortunately I don't have a whole lot of edging to do so I will tolerate the tired back. The other issue is, as someone else pointed out, the blade's wear out fairly quickly, but I too edge close to the concert and some asphalt so if it weren't for the handle length and blade, it would probably get 5 stars.

Easy to use. Does a fantastic job. It's a workhorse machine with plenty of power for heavy-duty use.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has a lot of power, is easy to use, and is lightweight enough to use for extended periods without getting tired out. I used it on heavily overgrown curbs and sidewalks, and it proved to be a workhorse machine that performed well. I wish I had bought this a long time ago.
