Crazy for Chickens!
My mother is absolutely "Crazy" about chickens. When she was 4 years old she walked into the chicken coop and came out with a hen under each arm. I'm not sure what she finds so charming about these birds but it's something she definitively has not grown out of.That being said she has a collection of chickens that extend all the way across the kitchen. We have figurines, plates, trivets, bowels and everything else you can imagine.Unfortunately, she also loves her cats. The cats have complete run of the house and have apparently decided to declare war on the chickens. We've had them knocked off the refrigerator, the tops of the cabinets the china cupboard and of course the counters. I understand that cats will be cats but it seems strange that the only thing they knock over has a chicken on it.For this reason I have was looking for chicken merchandise that is a little more on the durable side and found this melamine tray. I was not aware that Melamine was making a big come back these days and was delighted to know I could get my mother a try that I could say was "cat proof". It should be mentioned that the cats in question broke an "unbreakable" cat toy in about an hour.If you are looking for a sturdy chicken tray or have pesky pets of your own you may want to purchase this.

Pretty and Durable
I just bought a new coffee table/ottoman for my living room. It is tufted leather on top so I can sit on it, put my feet up on it, but if I want to eat or drink on it I needed to find some trays. These trays are very durable, simple and I think they are very pretty. They are covered in a smooth clear coating so they are easy to wash off. I received two for a Christmas gift, which I put on my wishlist, and then I decided I would like to get one more. I had to re-order the same tray three times because each time it came with some type of blemish or black spots on the tray. The first two were perfectly fine so I thought this was strange? The third tray delievered to me was also fine so I am not sure what happened with that batch of quality control on the other trays. I love them though they are perfect for what I use them for now. I use two for food and drinks and one to set my laptop on. I would buy them again.

I'm liking this curvy, one-piece object
Having lived with this for about a month now, I would say that I am liking the design and the execution of it. The photo in the listing does not do it justice. The tray is is made of melamine, which means it's a rigid, light, rugged, thermally insulating monolithic object (no seams) that cleans up nicely. I use it as a dishwasherable placemat daily. If I were carrying drinks on it, I might also appreciate the tiny gutter formed into its perimeter, which looks like it could collect a little spill in case of accident. A nice detail of the back/bottom of the tray is that it has a slightly raised edge around the perimeter (which is the underside of what looks like a little gutter from the top), which holds the tray off the surface it's placed on, so you won't get "suction" of this tray if placed on a wet counter, as you might with a flat-bottom tray. On the top side, the angle of the handles is fairly flat and the lip of the tray is fairly low, so that it is not awkward to place large bowls that overreach the end of the tray and ride up on the handles.

All things old are new again
Hi Fellow Shoppers,Almost 50 years ago I had my first Corelle dishes and I loved them. The kids were little and the dishes were virtually indestructible. Fast forward many years and arthritis is begging me to go light. So, I recently replaced my beautiful but heavy everyday stoneware with Corelle Splendor and I love it!! It's lightweight, has a cool design and with two shelf organizers, service for12 fits on one shelf in my kitchen cabinet. I've used the melamine tray for appetizers and received many compliments. We love it!

Disappointed at material used for this product.
Appearance sold me-Not accustomed to plasticware from Corelle. I wanted matching glasses, butthey also are plastic. The value is not worth the money,at least$7 each for water glasses! I want juice & rock glasses too,but not at those prices forplastic no matter how pretty.
