They're simple designs and it's possible to make your own too. Amazon sells a kit to do so which of course is reusable. In the end this one won through for the sensible choice for its simplicity and thereby lack of weight when empty.

Still, Filter held up, Water was always tasty and Safe, and after Back flushing filtration rate was back to normal immediately. Do Do that twice a day. :-)

Simple et léger... Prévoir un filtre de rechange pour les grandes balades. Par ailleurs ceci fait une précieuse réserve facilement transportable d'eau avant les arrêt en bivouac.

Ich mag das Produkt, und bin mitlerweile geübt in der Verwendung.Ich besitze es nun schon ein Jahr und lagere den Filter in Salzlösung... bis zur nächsten Benutzung.Ein paar Abzüge:wenn man den Bag zu voll füllt und um die Schulter legt um es zum Lager zurück zu transportieren schwappt es gerne oben (durch gerollten Verschluss) wieder raus... man kann den Bag also nur zur Hälfte füllen um Sicher zu gehen dass nicht ungefilterertes Wasser am Schlauch über den Filter ins gefilterte tropft... Suboptimal.Der Schlauch ist irgendwie porös geworden und sprüht einen feinen Nebel ungefilterten Wassers in der Gegend rum, auch das ist natürlich zu vermeiden.Den Filter selbst finde ich top, auch dass man die Kohlefilter einzeln nachkaufen kann.Manchmal fließt das Wasser nur sehr langsam, manchmal gewohnt schnell ohne erkennbaren Grund (auf Luftblasen usw geprüft)Ich würde mir wünschen dass man den Schlauch auch einzeln kaufen könnte da er scheinbar das anfälligste Teil dieses Sets ist
