Works as Expected with ESP32
I purchased this item for use with an ESP32-Wroom. I wanted to receive data from my Accurite 5 in 1 weather station sensor. Once I had the code correct it works exactly as expected. While it does say 5v power on it I am using the 3.3v pinout on the ESP32 to power the unit with no issues at all. Another plus!

They work, but the range is very weak.
I tried two different antenna styles and was unable to get line of sight reception to exceed about ten feet. Will be looking at different receivers.

Works with esphome
Works with ESPHOME. Unfortunately not with most of my Hunter fans though. It did work with an aftermarket fan controller though, the remote for that one beeps. It didn’t do what I wanted, but that’s not the fault of the product.

They work...
Does what it says, picks up 433MHz signals and conveys that with one wire to an Arduino. Reception is fairly weak, beyond a few feet, even with an antenna, you will have difficulty if the transmitter isn't really strong.That said, it's very easy to use and has VCC and GND pass-through which helps with daisy chaining.

Way better then a super-regen
Used it with a PI, powered by 5V, and used a clamp diode to 3.3V to protect the input to the PI and some other simple circuitry. Very nice high sensitivity, especially compared to the super-regen receivers.
