Is able to easily jump my F150 and boat
Have to say this is one product everyone should have. Sure beats jumper cables and need for second vehicle. This product is small and compact, yet very well constructed. Is able to easily jump my F150 and boat.

Doesn't work.
I purchased mine from Walmart. I bought them because dead batteries happen. So when I got my first dead battery in my garage I jumped at the opportunity to try this out. I tried one. Nothing.Hooked up to my 4 cylinder Subaru. The light went green for about 5 seconds then I got a red blinking light. I then grabbed the one in my wife's car. It stayed green until I tried to crank.I'm not sure exactly how they're measuring the "800A Peak" but most Lithium Ion cells don't touch that. The physics just doesn't hold for these lithium ion jumpers.Replaced with a good ole 'lead acid' style. They're bigger and heavier but they work, always.

Junk
Charges to 100% the hoes dead in 30 sec. it went dead just pushing the button to get a green light. Tried to charge a phone off 100% by the display and was dead in 3 sec. I wasted $70 at Walmart for this junk.

Total JUNK
This "jumpstarter"does not work Not even closeI bought two of these "name brand" jumpstarters for my wife and daughter as well as one for myself Thank goodness they never needed these in an actual emergency. These are worse than useless. I was given a false sense of security when I put these into my family's cars and showed them how to use them They simply do NOT work.I fully charged the units and kept them fully charged exactly according to the owner's manual. The first opportunity that I had to use one was when my lawnmower wouldn't start. I tried to start it with a fully charges Schumacher jumpstarter. I got ONE click then nothing. The power level went from 100% down to 30% with that one click. Thinking that either I did something wrong or the jump might be defective, I got the other unit from my wife's car. Double checked the full charge and made sure it was totally at 100%. This had the same failure results.Assuming that maybe my mower was defective, I tried to jumpstart it with a different charger and it started right up.A call to Schumacher kept me on hold for 20 minutes then a recording said to press one if I wanted a call back. I pressed one and the call disconnected. I called back. Another 20 minutes on hold. I did not push one. I waited for another 17 minutes till a live person answered. He said he never heard of a complaint like this before. He couldn't help me. I am now the not-so-proud owner of very expensive paperweights.I will NEVER buy Schumachjer again.

Does not work.
Followed charging instruction for this device. LCD shows 100% charge. Garage kept, no overheating in a car. Light turns from green to red after one solenoid click. Partially charged battery from 47% to 66% same result. I would suspect overload is tripping. Six cylinder 2005 Lexus. Glad I got the chance to test in garage before relying upon it. Outside of return window before I tested. That old expression of trust but verify comes to mind.

Junk. worked one time when new and that's it, Updated a month later
I am,,,,was an advocate for Schumacher battery chargers. I bought this to get my car home, charged it overnight first then nest day was able to jump my car after figuring out the combination. Couple days later I put it on a wall charger for couple days. Then stored it in my trunk for an emergency which was ONLY reason I bought it. Last night my cell phone died and we were out back so this was the perfect answer. NOT, dead, nothing. I am a self made engineer and can fix nearly anything. But this product is junk. I am now playing tricks on it trying to figure out where Shumacher made their mistake. Question is: Was it in their advertising and this unit is meant for daily use and not for emergency such as a car lot or camp site. Why would anyone want a emergency jump starter if it dies during storage.UPDATE After about ten cycles of plugging in and out a simple cheap charger I was able to trick the Shumacher into finally taking on a charge. Now remember that I had left the unit on three different verified good (not cheap) cell phone chargers all to no avail. But after noticing that the unit would indicate a 2% charge for the first minute then go blank I suspected that it was too dead for charging without some help. So, normally I will take the device apart to gain direct access to the battery then jump charge parallel alongside a fully charged battery. But not wanting to take this apart I kept cycling (plug in and out) for several minutes until the internal battery eventually took on enough charge to keep charging on its own. So after several hours of me watching the unit to make sure the battery continues to increase in charge value I eventually tried to use the unit to charge my cell phone. Hurray, it did work. So I then recharged the Shumacher once again and then used it to charge two devices at once successfully. The Shumacher is recharging again now. I will update the next time i try to use it for jumping a car..I've been using it to charge cell phones regularly. And for that it seems flawless. I have not had an opportunity to jump a vehicle yet. However, I can recharge several cell phones before it needs to be charged itself. Of note. It only charges a cell phone when it is not charging itself.

REGRETS: Did not jump car
Tried to jump start a dead Lexus SUV. Headlights momentarily came on. But that was it. Engine did not crank. I had jumper cables as backup. Maybe will function as decent electronics charger. Would not recommend. Would not buy again.
