Great for cleaning carpet messes!
My wife and I have found this product is great fro cleaning up the occasional mess caused by one of our dogs getting sick. Lately, though, we weren't able to find it at our local store, which was incredibly frustrating. Amazon really helped us out by having this product for an excellent price!

Use Spot Shot for laundry stains!
I've been satisfied for a long time with Spot Shot, but I seldom use it for carpet cleaning. Our primary use is for removing stains from clothes going into the washer. I saw one review that mentioned that they had dared this "off label" use and been pleased with the results. It's the best!! for this purpose. I have it on good authority that when the manufacturer, WD-40, was developing the product, the intended use was for laundry. When they finally had the formula worked out, they found that they could not get the shelf space they desired in the supermarkets. There were already established brands in this market that they'd have to overpower somehow. They decided to introduce the product to the consumer market as a carpet cleaner where they could get shelf space and then gradually move it into the laundry spot removal space. I don't know why this second step never occurred -- perhaps they tried and failed. Anyway, give it a try in the laundry room. You won't regret it!

Great product. As advertised.
OmgThis product is unbelievably great. It knocks the spots out right away without anything further needed. The spots disappear right before your eyes. The fragrance is clean and fresh..not overpowering with perfume type scent. I stood upright without having to bend to spray. Bad back appreciated that!!
