This worked well for taking embroidery off a knit hat. It was sharp and focused. It is comfortable to hold.Initially I bought it for work, to strip cotton sleeves and bindings off of wire bundles. Because of the fat, ergonomic grip the soft orange part got chewed up and the angle almost cut a few of the small wires. It works well for what it's intended, just not for my niche. I'm going back to the basic narrow blue ones.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my son's girlfriend. She makes a lot of quilts and seemed to enjoy receiving it. Of course, she can use it for other projects, as well. It seemed to be a good weight, not flimsy, but I'll have a better idea of its quality after she's had the chance to use it.

Fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. Has a very sharp blade which cuts with ease. I bought this seam ripper to cut hair from my vacuum cleaner brush and it works well for that task. Has a safety cap which removes and recaps easily. Product arrived early and intact, so I highly recommend this vendor.

We always bought the cheap seam ripper. I got tired of it and bought this one. It really gets the job done I had dozens of patches to take off some old work shirts and it worked like a charm.

This tool does the job of helping to remove sewn-in labels in shirts. I wish there were no shirt-makers that used tags that can irritate. But as long as they keep doing that, this tool is there to help with the removal.I recommend this good quality tool.

This seam works very well for taking out stitching on quilt blocks! It has a nice fine point that is easy to get under the stitches and sharp enough to cut them without too much pulling. The larger handle and ergonomic shape make it easy to hold with my arthritic fingers.
