Signature Design by Ashley Jerary Farmhouse Button-Tufted Upholstered Platform Bed, Queen, Light Gray

Bought this bed for my mother. She wanted a queen to replace her king bed. The headboard was very nice weight and quality- much nicer than I expected for this price. The assembly was not bad- under 2 hours with only the Allen wrench provided. The only negative is that the side rails are in two pieces which connect ( I imagine this is required to make it easier to ship. Otherwise, this looks like a nice quality piece. We will get two additional rails to provide good support ( it only came with 4). Extremely pleased with the price, quality, and ease of assembly! Waiting on the mattress, so will provide an update about comfort once she sleeps on it.

Gorgeous and well made! I was able to assemble by myself in under 30 minutes.

I went full Marie Konda last year and decided to downsize my bedroom. I sold my matching suit and ordered this to replace my bed frame. It was over $100 cheaper than ordering direction from Ashley's which also worried me but i thought I'd give it a try anyway. It was decently easy to assemble. The slats were the toughest part because some of them were too short (I'm talking 1/2 and inch on either side. Noticeably shorter than the rest) I tried to put the shorter ones between the ones that were the correct size. I was able to attach them all except for 1, which was the shortest one. After approximately 1 year, I will say for the price it is fine. It's yet to break, it doesn't creek/squeek. It's held up fine. I really feel like the true color depends on the room and lighting. We have a light Khali green color on our walls and are lacking natural light. It appears more gray than I thought it'd be but I believe if our walls were more neutral it would appear more of a beige color.

I was hesitant to order based on other reviews (here & on Ashley’s site). Color off, damage, etc. we received the item, entry delivered free by AMZ. We opened the box and you see the headboard. All the other parts are packaged behind the velcro cover. Unpacked-no damaged items, instructions for Ashley furn is always in the very bottom of the box. We got the legs on the headboard, the sides screwed together and the feet on the bottom rail-we used a drill; so may be 30 minutes tops for assembly. We had to remove the old bed, and we are using an adjustable base. So we took the time to raise that platform a few inches. Over all from box to finish was approximately about an hour. We are very happy with the medium gray/greige color. It’s perfect for our room. It’s definitely more gray than beige in my opinion. It is solid, the fabric is nice, and overall we are very happy. It adds an elegance to our master bedroom. It’s a great style to go with most decors.

When you first open the box, it seems cheap. But then once you put it together and see it all come together, you know it isn’t. This is a beautiful bed and easy to assemble.

Product was delivered on time. Opened up and was initially pleased with the quality, but got about halfway through assembly and realized that two of the wooden bed rail supports were missing bolt inserts, so there was no way to securely fasten the cross boards to the frame. Obviously not happy about this, but understand that mistakes happen. Contacted Ashley for replacement parts and was told it could be a month or more before I receive them — seriously?! For a couple small pieces of hardware? Ridiculous. I was expecting Ashley to send them right away since it was their mistake and I can’t use the frame until I get the parts, but this must happen all the time because they made no effort to expedite or help me. Can’t exactly send it back to Amazon or get a whole new replacement — the rest of it is fine and the box is huge/heavy. Think this will ultimately be a good frame, but super disappointed with the missing parts and lack of empathy/urgency on the part of Ashley. **Update** Was able to come up with a hardware solution on my own so continued the assembly, but got to the end and discovered that the holes on the headboard legs didn’t line up with the frame. What a terribly manufactured product - missing parts and defective structural pieces. This has been an all-around extremely disappointing experience. Returning the product. Hope Amazon stops selling Ashley’s junk.

It was the cheapest price on Amazon, and the fastest delivery. It was delivered in 4 days with a delivery window I could schedule. It was only a 3 hour window. It was delivered on a Sunday 9-12 but it arrived at 9:45 I was even able to track it! It's sturdy by I would think as long as it's not allot of crazy jumping on it the slates will hold up. The legs are not full thick blocks of wood, their solid but their about 1.5 or 2 inches thick. The headboard is well made, thick, solid and stitched beautifully with no flaws. This requires a box spring. This is my second Ashley bed and the previous one stood the test of time, I brought it in 2000. I just took it apart and stored it and I brought this one because I wanted a new look.

I was looking for a new headboard and found this. It is very pretty. I got the grey and it is a very warm grey (greige would be an good description). The fabric areas are well made. The issues I had were with the slats that go between to give the headboard stability. Fortunately, I have an adjustable bed frame and did not need this to support a mattress. You must have a box spring and even then I’m not sure it will support well. One of the horizontal boards was too short for me to drill it in both sides. Also, the headboard itself moves. I could not lean on it to read etc. it isn’t a big deal for us because of our split- adjustable bed frame is what we use to sit up, but I want to let shoppers know. It is pretty, and very affordable. No big issues, weird smells etc.
