Absolutely amazing screen for the money!
My family and I have been using this screen for 2 years now and love love love it. Okay was it easy to set up.... ehh get some help this is not a one person job that's for sure. FYI the package had some damage when I picked it up but it was packed very well and the screen was free of any damage. Pictures look great and it doesn't matter if I'm running games or a had movie on it it pops. 3d looks crazy good too but yeah the projector has a lot to do with that. Awesome product for the price. Works and looks perfectly and have never had any issues with it. When it was first rolled down it did have some waves/wrinkles in the screen so I let it stay down for a few weeks and they all went away. The electric screen is awesome and so glad it came with the remote. I never set up the wall switch do to the configuration of my room it's in so I can't speak to that feature.Pros:Slow smooth raising and lowering of the electric screen. It's just super smoothEverything just pops on this screen. It takes the projector image to that next levelGod base weight to keep the screeen taunt and free from movingThe added tension lines on the sides. So glad I got this version. My friend has one without and his screen is always wavy and it just doesn't hang right to me.Cons:Motor is a tad noisy but I honestly have a hard time listing this as a con because it really doesn't bother me at allWhen first rolled down there are some imperfections and waves in the screen but advised in my review this was solved by just leaving it down for a few weeks. The power cord. This was my biggest frustration. When they made this they had to know how high the screen needs to be mounted and you only get about a foot of power cord on the top left of the screen. So if you don't have a outlet in a randomly placed location on the top of your wall (like most of us) be prepared to get and extension cord to plug this bad boy in for power. As you can see out of all the cons only one is a real pain point the rest are fixable and or tolerating. This is one heck of a projector screen for the money and everyone EVERYONE loves it and ooohs and aahhhhhs when I hit the remote and it starts to roll down the wall. Worth every penny and I totally recommend this screen.

Cheap? Not really. Worth it? You Bet!
Iv'e had this screen for a little over 2 months and while this isn't the cheapest option for a projector screen it fit the bill nicely for me. The first screen i received from Amazon ultimately found its way back to the warehouse and a replacement sent to me. Any large item like this is worth spending the extra bit of money to have amazon fulfill the shipping and returns because any problems you might incur are easily resolved. The first screen i received was damaged in shipping and it wasn't immediately noticeable. I mounted this screen on a vaulted ceiling and initially noticed some curling of the edges. After a few days of letting it hang they diminished greatly but it ended up with worse wrinkles throughout the middle and bottom. After closer examination i noticed that the weight bar was slightly bent upwards in the middle which was the cause of the distortion. I contacted Amazon and within a week i had a new screen delivered and the defective one picked up at no additional cost. The quality of the replacement screen is great. I first considered getting a Da-Lite or Draper screen but wasn't wanting to spend a fortune on my first screen not knowing what to expect. I decided to give Elite Screens a shot and for myself I feel I made the right choice. I'm using a Sony VPL-HW40ES that is sitting 20ft back and I sit about 10-15ft away from the screen. I don't leave the screen down all the time as its not in a dedicated home theater room but I haven't had any problems with edge curling or hot spots. The tab-tension is a nice feature as it helps keep the screen from wrinkling. The screen has a good weight to it and if somebody walks past it while its down it doesn't seem to cause it to sway any. Its also nice being able to use a Logitech remote to control the screen but if you don't have one you can use the included IR remote. The electric motor is quiet and smooth and even though its a little slow it isn't a problem for me because by the time the projector warms up the screen is down and ready.I am very pleased with this product/price and if that ever changes or I run into any problems i'll be sure to update my review.

Acoustically Transparent 125"
This review is for anyone thinking of getting the Acoustically Transparent 125" Elite Spectrum. My screen is ceiling mounted in front of my 65" tv, center channel, and audio cabinet. The lights from the audio equipment display, can be seen through the screen, even if they are dimmed down. The light from my projector goes right though the Acoustically Transparent screen and hits everything behind it.My walls are light color, so this affects the contrast a lot.I had an older elite vmax screen with 1.1 gain and never had this problem, but it was not Acoustically Transparent.I solved the problem by hanging black cloth behind the screen, but its a annoying because I need to remove it every time I don't use the screen. (I use magnets to hold it to the screen body)With this black cloth behind, the contrast is improved greatly since there is no more light bleeding through. This black cloth is not very acoustically transparent, so what I did was cut out where the center speaker is, and on that section, fill it in with speaker cloth. Now after all this, here comes the image quality. It will make you projector look like it went from 4k down to 1080p. its that bad.But I wanted a bigger screen, and this was the only way to do it.So I'm dealing with it.I wish I was able to get answers from Elite them self before I made the purchase, but they don't even have a phone number to contact them, and I left my phone number for a call back and they never ever called. did it once a week for 4 weeks.I hope it doesn't break, because I can already see what kind of customer service I will get.

Fantastic screen!!!
Super easy to install and works like a charm. Tab tension is definitely the way to go - no wrinkles or warping.

Good costumer service in that sense
I bough this about a month ago. I found few issues After hooking it up on ceiling. First, I noticed screen was curly at edges. Second, tension string was loose on one side. Third, screen was bit bumpy at some spots. Fourth, visible lines on screen. I sent an email to elite coustomer service. They were so quick to reply, within 24 hours. Good costumer service in that sense.Meanwhile I kept screen open for 2 days as it was recommended in manual to get rid of some lines on screen which I did and it did help with curls at edges but line were still visible. Lines do not seem to affect picture quality so i can give it benefit of doubt. The guy suggested to use high heat on bumpy and curly area to make it look flat which I am going to and see if it will get rid of bumps and curls permanently.Loose string was easy fix with 5/32 Allen key.Overall, it's a good screen with motorized function. Only time will tell if I can get rid of bumps and curls with high heat.

Four Stars
Screen trigger cord was broken from inside so have to call manufacturer for replacement. Otherwise it works well.
