Well made and packaged, seems like it's made by legit work instead of the overseas sweatshop garbage crews that Amazon is becoming synonymous with.I do have a question tho (did not see an option to ask a question, so I'm using this review to do so): what are the extra yellow-green lenses that came with it? They aren't listed in the descrip.If they are, as I suspect, UV lenses, then there's even more value for the money here. I can use them for blacklight leak diags on vehicle systems, instead of the cheap plastic goggles I currently use.

Had to silicone around the peice in the middle, lets a LOT of light in.

plastic housing. cheapo elastic strap. some assembly required. and has glass lenses with clear plastic protector shield. i believe if you want eye protection you need to have the shatter proof clear plastic installed when using these.these are certainly not the best goggles in the world. and the fact its marketed as "steampunk" its basically acknowledging this is little more than "costume" these goggles fog easily and there appeared to be some light leaking in and reflecting off of the "pull chain" that is used as a nose bridge. the case is quite large but does indeed protect your goggles. I wouldnt use these as a main pair but something to bounce around in the back of the truck wouldnt be a terrible idea.

Bought these for the eclipse. I managed to live somewhere that had cloud cover that day. Of course! But I tested them before and after and they worked great. More comfortable once you peel and stick the gaskets that come with and you can swap out different strength lenses. Gonna try to find lighter ones to use these as snow goggles until the next eclipse!

These arrived packaged nicely (easy to tell that everything that was supposed to be included was). While ordering them seemed a little tricky (choosing "color" #14), they arrived with the correct #14 lenses that I needed for eclipse viewing, and I know this because it is stamped directly on the glass. While I see what another reviewer was talking about with some light seepage coming from the nose area (where the adjustment chain comes through), I think this will be very indirect and not a problem for my purpose (it could also be remedied with a drop of sealant once the chain is adjusted to the desired length if it was a problem). My pair also happened to come with a nice little bonus set of ear plugs in a case (which wasn't mentioned in the descriptions). Would recommend.

These glasses are the most protective you can get as far as i can tell. They are comfortable adjustable and come complete with case and cleaning cloth. Looking forward to using them in April Hope the dog gets a bone since i wrote a review!!

Unfortunately the ball chain that connects the two sides of the goggles came free from one side & then was unable to stay connected when I put them back together. It was just a slot in the molded plastic that's a frame for the lens. That slot became worn beyond use in the matter of 12hrs. of use. Perhaps it is a flaw in the mold or just a flaw in the plastic... still on the hunt for a pair of goggles like these.
