I will start with, I never leave reviews. These placemats not only came packaged horribly (see the image of them right out of the box). The description stated that these came rolled so they would not be creased upon arrival. Not the case they were literally folded over each other. Outside of the packaging they are also WILDLY smaller than the images would lead you to believe. The first picture is a normal dinner plate. Not sure what size the salad plates are that they advertise this product with but its not accurate. Returning immediately, super disappointed in everything about this product.

Second update: I ordered a second set of placemats that were packaged rolled. They did not flatten after 72 hours with 50lb weights on them. They are not usable (see photo).Update: the seller sent new placemats which were packaged flat. They look really nice and seem durable. They are very easy to clean and lay perfectly flat.Original: The placemats are very pretty and seem sturdy. The main complaint is how they are packaged. They’re folded tightly which leaves creases/bumps. I tried weighting them for 48 hours with about 40 lbs on top of them which did not help. They do not look nice because they are unable to lay flat. I will be returning. They would be perfect if they were shipped flat.

I got these because I needed a lot of placemats for not a lot of money, and these fit the bill. I have to say, they did exceed expectations. They are bright and cheerful, and don't look or feel cheap. They protected my table and made for a very nice table setting. The coasters were an added bonus, I didn't expect to use them, but my guests liked them. They also picked them up and used them when they were walking around with drinks, so extra bonus!They won't go through the washing machine or dishwasher, and they aren't waterproof. That wasn't an issue for me, and not what I needed, but you should be aware of that.

Similar to many reviews I read before purchasing, the quality of the mats is good, but I was pretty disappointed with the way they were shipped rolled. I contacted customer service before purchasing to ask if they could ship them flat but they assured me there would be no problem with shipping them rolled, so I decided to chance it. However, after several days under 40-60 pounds of weight, they still hadn't flattened all the way.To be fair, they might have been fine if I had used the etching side face-up, but since I didn't like the logo, I tried to turn them over, and they just don't work that way. If you don't mind the logo, you'll probably be fine!

I wanted some very colorful placemats. These were perfect - beautiful.... a set of 6, which also came with matching coasters. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars from me --- I just wish they were about an inch or 2 larger in diameter. But I can live with the size they are. Great Value

These mats arrive rolled into a plastic sleeve. I've had them for a couple of months and regardless of how I roll them in the other direction (mfg's instructions) or place under heavy objects, they will not uncurl completely. After communicating with the seller, they agreed it would help to ship them flat. The mats are otherwise good quality, so if seller follows through on shipping them flat, I would be able to recommend them.

Not everyone's taste but Stylish mat if you r looking for something different & unique.

They come rolled as it mentions but very difficult to flatten them. Even with heat it didn’t work. They should ship them flat like their competitor.

Purchased these for the unique and modern shape. I am very disappointed because they do not lay flat which makes them look cheap. Also they are definitely not anti slip!

They never lie flat.. I have left them under books, wooden heavy boards but the ends never lie flat!
