Sisjuly Women's Beaded Appliques A-line Chiffon Evening Dress

This was the oddest fitting dress for me. The waist pinched in awkwardly and the bodice was huge. Previously, I ordered a different, fitted Sisjuly gown in a size 6. It was a bit large in the bust and waist area but I was able to make a few minor adjustments to get it to fit, so I decided to try a smaller size in a different style gown. To make this gown fit I will have to remove the lining, stays, and breast cups to take in the bodice. There is no extra material to let out the waist so I will also have to take in the shoulders a bit to make the waist a little higher to rest above the tummy (and probably wear a body shaper!). I normally wear a women's size 4, am short-waisted with a 28 inch waist, a 34C bust, and 38 inch hips, 124lbs, and 5'6" . There was absolutely no stretch anywhere in this gown and the skirt is cut very tightly so not as soft and flowing as I would have liked and very unforgiving to your figure. The length wasn't bad, but will require at least 3 inch heels. That is the one thing I won't have to take up! On the positive side the beading and lace are lovely and gown was neatly finished on the inside. I won't be returning the gown as I only paid $10 for it and can make the alterations myself. I do think the gown will look lovely if I can get it fitted properly.

I absolutely love this dress. Lovely color and construction. These dresses are made to enhance your figure so they are not super duper comfortable but the ties at the back do allow you some flexibility but only in the top portion. The zipper ends at the down so the waist is defined with no stretch. The built-in pads do make the top portion more pronounced than your usual bra and that is the only flaw. I love the color and beads work. I usually wear 6 and the 6 fit me like a dream. Of course the dress is long on my 5'4 frame but with 3-4 inch heels I should be ok.

It was absolutely gorgeous - However I couldn't wear it. I read all the material available and ordered it 2 sizes Bigger than my regular size - but it was still about 2 or 3 sizes too Small....It's a shame, I could have looked Great!

Waist is at least 3 times smaller than size listed. Chest is oddly large! I’m a 40D and I couldn’t zip the back or fill the top. Beautiful idea gone wrong.
