Beautiful Timepiece with great features
I wear this watch and get so many compliments as it looks nothing like the classic Timex watches (i.e. Weekender). The face is clean, simple, and with a nice color palette.Feature wise, you have a chronograph (stopwatch) with 1/20th of a second resolution (note that it only gives you that resolution when you pause the chronograph). You have a date window. A tachymeter on the crown (note, non-rotating bezel, so your tach is closely related to your chrongraph seconds hand). Illuminated hands and Hours 2,6,10 markers. And my favorite, Indiglo. Indiglo will illuminate the entire back of the face to a pale green and help you see the watch face when it is dark.The setup is a bit weird but it honestly didn't take me more than 5 minutes when i had read the instructions to correctly get everything going.It's a beautiful, affordable piece with great features and looks to be worth 10 times more than the asking price

Original purchase and replacement both arrived broken
The watch itself is good looking, but it arrived broken and non-functional from Amazon not once but twice! The first time it was the chronograph (stopwatch) that didn't function at all. The hands wouldn't reset for the stopwatch and the stopwatch wouldn't run at all. I returned it and received a second version very quickly (good customer service), but the second one was in worse shape. The crown pulled completely out of the body of the watch with little pressure and force as I just tried to set the time. Clearly broken on arrival, clearly not waterproof. It looks to be a good watch, but I would take care an inspect what you receive to be sure that it works as described when it arrives.

My Citizen Eco-Drive (reviewed elsewhere on this site) finally bit the dust when the crystal cracked and damaged the movement. As a daily driver watch I was reluctant to pay $150 or more on a replacement, so I was happy when my searching uncovered this watch on the Amazon site.This Timex watch very closely resembles my deceased Citizen and the watch face and overall dimensions are surprisingly similar. The overall thickness, however, is several millimeters more than my previous watch and I admit that it is taking me some time to get used to the overall height of this watch.First impressions upon receiving this watch were very high. It looked impressive just sitting in the box and upon taking it out and holding it in my hands, this time piece has a substantial, weighty feel. The silicon strap feels comfortable, but I took it off in short order and replaced it with a stainless steel bracelet...only out of personal preference.My first task was to set up the time, date, and chronograph features. As others have noted, this process can be a bit confusing and temperamental. I had to re-read the instructions several times while playing with the stem and getting it just right in order to set the chronograph, seconds and minutes hand to their zero position. Once accomplished, however, those features all work as expected. My advice is to take your time and get a feel for setting the watch.The main dial consists of the hour and minute hands on the main face, and the chrono seconds hand, 1/20 elapsed time, and the second hand. The chrono seconds hand ONLY ticks off seconds when you press the top pusher button to start timing. The smaller top left dial ticks off the chrono minutes. This will count up to 30 minutes but will continue counting off each minute...you just have to remember when you've reached 30 know that consecutive minutes are added to base 30, 60. etc.The smaller top right dial indicates split seconds of 1/20 seconds. I'm not convinced that this has any real world value and would prefer that it instead indicate increments of hours elapsed time to keep track of chrono minutes. It's a small complaint considering the price point of this watch.The third inner dial, at the bottom 6 o'clock position on the watch face, is simply a seconds hand. It moves in one second increments, non-stop.One feature I find very slightly disappointed in is the blue cobalt coloring used on the chrono hands. In bright light there is no problem, but in dim light the blue coloring simply does not provide enough contrast against the black watch face. I would prefer white but in all fairness it's not a serious flaw. I have to admit, it looks kind of cool.The watch has been running for 3 days and it has been keeping time spot on. It looks good, it feels good, and it keeps time. At this price point you can't ask for more.I haven't owned a Timex watch for many years, so only time will tell if we can still say "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!"I've included photos of the watch with my own stainless steel watch bracelet, another comparing this Timex side by side with the old Citizen, and a third of the relevant pages for setting and using this Timex watch.PROSPrice: Looks like it should cost 2 or 3 times the price.Feel: Nice size and weight. People will notice this watch and probably think it's quite an expensive time piece!Usability: Easy to read dials...even the date window is legible! You can't get a better deal!
This watch has been a great buy and more than a value for money. The rubber strap is thick, yet flexible, and doesn't leave any buckle wrinkles or lines. the indiglo function works smoothly as ever and the night vision mode doesn't disappoint.As for the chronograph and date feature, it hasn't given any probs as yet. the only thing about the stop watch seconds hand is its alignment, which at times doesn't rest exactly at 12..but you usually don't notice it much.The watch looks smart casual and the silver body gives it a lift on your wrist.Even though i have bought plenty from here, its my first review at amazon as good products and speedy service should be appreciated.

Keeps the time and looks nice, but second hand is wonky.
I love the way the watch looks. I love the indigo feature. The rubber band is also nice. I pretty much wear this all of the time. It is easy to set, but the second hand and stopwatch feature does not really work. The small dials do not run correctly. I am not sure if it is flaw, or just the way it works. It is a $65 watch and it keeps good time. I am not going to return it, but just question why have features that don't work correctly. Better to just not have them.

Un orologio veramente bello!
Ottima rapporto qualità/prezzo, ottimi materiali, cinturino in silicone morbido e per niente fastidioso sulla pelle. Quadrante INDIGLO luminescente a pressione del tasto centrale per lettura notturna. Ne avevo già uno, (rubatomi), e ne ho voluto comprare un altro. Ricordo che è prodotto in USA, non Cina!

A un precio muy ajustado un reloj muy robusto, con buenos materiales, muy bien acabado, con excelente funcionamiento y presencia. Comparable a relojes mucho más caros. Con el valor añadido del Indiglo y su luz nocturna.Ya conocía la marca y me ha satisfecho de nuevo. Envío y embalaje de Amazon, como siempre perfecto.

Un 10 para amazon por su velocidad de reembolso.Como ya tenia un timex y estoy encantadisimo de el, decidi comprar este como regalo, pero resulta que no funciona, la manecilla esta como suelta y ha sido bastante decepcionante. Ademas la correa tiene un tacto horrible.Lo único bueno que su diseño me parece atractivo

es un buen reloj para lo que cuesta, el único detalle es que la mayoría de relojes timex tienen como un defecto que es que la aguja de los segundos no se encuentra perfectamente alineada a las 12:00, tiene a moverse un poco pero omitiendo eso el reloj es de excelente calidad y la iluminacion de fondo (indiglo) me encanto.
