Excellent and easily digestible primer on DBT
This book is essentially half-graphic novel / half-textbook on DBT. It provides a very clear overview on DBT which can help patients, family, or students learn the basics. Or, for those actively practicing DBT, it's a quick resource for when you may need it. We are learning as the character is learning. The drawings have an earnest quality, which feels very authentic to conveying the author's experience. My heart hurt for what the character/author has been through.

Would advise for older, more regulated folks
While necessary to cover the topics, it looks like a comic book approach. It is not. Good content if folks already have a background in receiving the methodology. Not a solo educational item if not already able to self regulate, yet a good reinforcing resource.

AWESOME!
The graphic novel format is unique and innovative. It has been extremely helpful to use during telehealth sessions as a way to teach or review skills in a new way to many of my teen clients. It really captures their attention and breaks up the long lines of text and monotony. My alternative learners really love this format.Antonia Caliboso, LICSW
