Pyroil SLS10 Silicone Lubricant Spray - One 10 oz. Can

This stuff is great. I shoot AR15s and HKs. These guns have a lot of blowback of burnt powder into the action. Use of a conventional oil usually results in becoming a dirt magnet. So all that stuff just builds up on the bolt assemblies. This silicone stuff is a dry lubricant and leaves no oily residue to attract/support the crud buildup. So the action continues to operate easily and no large-scale cleanup is necessary.It also works great for magazine maintenance. Dry lubricant allows the rounds to move more smoothly inside, during feeding of the weapon, and avoids buildup of the same residue on the mag follower. This is a great benefit on the USGI AR15 mags and the HK MP5 mags as well.

i would buy it again. the shipping was slow but it was sent right away i think it was slow because of it being oil so it probably had to go by ground transportation

The silicone product worked great but the spray can leaks even with the sprayer removed. I was not able to use half of the product.

I USED ON MY GUN HOLSTERS AND NOW MY WEAPONS GLIDE OUT OF MY HOLSTERS WITHOUT ANY FRICTION. I ALSO SPRAYED MY GARAGE DOOR WHICH MADE IT VERY QUIET AND SMOOTH IN MOVEMENT. I WAS NOT SURPRISED AT THE PERFORMANCE AND I BELIEVE ANY SILICONE SPRAY WILL WORK EQUALLY AS WELL. I DONT THINK THE PRICE I PAID WAS VERY GOOD BUT AT LEAST IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY DOOR WITH HASSLE.

Even with the doorwall open and other ventilation, this stuff fills a 1500 sq ft ranch from end to end with strong fumes. We are trying to get a smooth track on the doorwall and I am not impressed with it's performance there either. It lasted about 3 days. I am going to have my husband spray one more time (I am sensitive to fumes, this stuff is killing me) and if it isn't effective I am returning these. I am so disappointed.

The lubricant was great for squeaky doors but, it left a nasty stain on a black plastic surface. It won't go away no matter what.

Excellent silicone spray. As reviewer M. Weidner notes, it does a great job lubricating auto window, door, hatch, and trunk weatherstrips. There are silicone spray products out there than can damage the rubber - no problems with this one.FYI, here's how to lube up those sticking windows:1. Roll down windows a bit and clean off all residue from the edges of the glass with a window spray.2. Take a piece of paper toweling and put it into the window channel rubber and wipe it out. You'll be wiping up some black residue.3. Gather a piece of aluminum foil and some Q-Tips.4. Form the foil into a cup, and spray some of this spray to get a collection of liquid.5. Quickly wet a Q-Tip and lubricate the channel. My experience is that 3 Q-tip "dippings" does the trick. YMMV...That's it. Spend 10 minutes twice a year, and you can avoid a hefty repair bill.

Now, I can lubricate my own garage doors instead of paying someone else to do it! It's great to keep around for all sorts of "fixes" As a senior women, I like having something easy to pick up and do a job.
