Yogi, Cindy E Bubu

I bought this to watch with my six year old grandson because I loved Yogi Bear and Boo Boo. There are guest appearances by Snagglepuss and Wally Gator and others. Yogi and friends travel the country and meet the other characters. We loved the pleasant characters.

This Yogi Bear movie from the 1980s proves that Yogi still has what it takes to entertain kids of all ages. The voice of Yogi is provided by the one and only Daws Butler, who is still THE only person who can accurately portray the character of Yogi Bear. It is great to hear him and Don Messick, who plays Boo-Boo and Ranger Smith, still in fine form even though a little past their prime. Note that the three little bears in this story have more than a passing resemblance to the hypothetical family that Cindy Bear envisioned in "Hey There, It's Yogi Bear." Which begs the question--where is Cindy in this story, and who really are the parents of these three little bear cubs? Anyhow, it's a fun Yogi romp, if not too inspired and a bit rambling at nearly 2 hours. It's fun to see Quick Draw McGraw in an extended cameo, along with Wally Gator and Snagglepuss. However, I must caution the uninitiated--this movie is best for diehard Yogi Bear fans, as it does tend to drag on and get repetitive. Most modern kids will probably not have the patience to sit through it. But for fans like me, you can never have too much Yogi Bear!

Best movie ever

I remember watching this when I was a child and when I stumbled acrossed it I had to buy it for my son. Can't wait till Christmas, I almost opened it myself haha!

I just love the simpler, older, sweet cartoons with hardly any violence; they show the little ones how to talk about & work out problems. My 5 year old loves Yogi!

been looking for this for years bought it years ago 1987 in fact on vhs for our boys they loved it . wanted it as a gift for our eldests (30) birthday as a fun gift

E' stato uno fra i primi e più riusciti lungometraggi d'animazionedella nota casa produttrice "Hanna & Barbera".L'ho acquistato in memoria dei miei Genitori,che, quando ero piccino, ebbero tutta la pazienza e l'Amoreper vederlo insieme a me, dall'inizio alla fine,rimandando la cena a sera tarda(allora non esisteva nemmeno il VHS!!):Disperavo di trovare in circolazione questo film...invece ho coronato il mio grande desideriograzie al megastore "Amazon"!Yogi, Cindy e Bubu e i loro simpatici amici riesconoa emozionare anche gli adulti, con lo spasso delle loro avventuree, soprattutto, con la spontanea Generosità dei loro Cuori.I bisogni gonfiati ad arte e le artificiose "necessità"dell'imperante materialismo di questi nostri tempihanno disgregato la famiglia, sottratto tempo alle Relazionie privato i Bambini delle Figure fondamentali di riferimento,compresa la Mamma che leggeva loro le fiabe.Attraverso la fiaba, il Bambino può creare DA SE STESSOle rappresentazioni di orchi e fate, castelli e caverne,gnomi, folletti e Esseri elementari della Natura,sviluppando, in questo modo, la Fantasia Immaginativa,elemento FONDAMENTALE per l'estro, l'ingegno, la creativitàe per la piena comprensione del Mondo.Il fatto che i tempi o i supposti "bisogni" siano cambiatinon fa venire meno l'assoluta necessità del Bambinodi sviluppare la Coscienza, a partire giusto dall'Immaginazione!NON E' SUFFICIENTE "PARCHEGGIARE"IL BAMBINO DAVANTI AL TELEVISORE!!Ma se proprio non riusciamo a fare di meglio,risparmiamogli almeno i moderni "cartoons" ultratecnologici,dove la fantasia è stata sostituita dalla fantascienza...dove non c'è spazio per la fantasia né voce per il Bene,ma il mondo è freddamente materiale/razionalee vince solo e unicamente il più forte e astuto...dove il Sogno è stato soppiantato dalla più violenta realtà!Diversamente non dovremo meravigliarcise i Bambini di oggi saranno gli alienati "cyber-dipendenti",in crisi di valori e d'identità di domani.Vedendo un film d'animazione il Bambino riceve pur semprerappresentazioni "pre-confezionate" dall'esterno,senza aver modo d'imparare a crearle da se stesso...ma perlomeno, innanzi alla Fantasia Moraleche i personaggi e le animazioni di questo splendido filmriescono a suscitare nella sua propria Coscienza,il Bambino avrà modo di apprendere ed apprezzaretutto il valore e il talento del Bene.Se non si perdono MAI di vista questi aspettied, anzi, il film diviene occasione per una visioneCONDIVISA da tutta la Famiglia - grandi e piccini -,ancor meglio se abbracciata stretta sullo stesso divano,allora il film è, al contrario, un efficace e potente "spunto"per ridestare in ogni Cuore le Facoltà del Bene e dell'Amore,per esercitarsi tutti insieme - genitori e figli -a sviluppare il talento del Cuore: LA FANTASIA MORALE!Film assolutamente da non perdere!
