Review: Handy lap trays~ - This black plastic lap desk is so perfect! My parents are in their 80s and needed trays for either using their laptop or eating meals in their recliners. They kind of live in their recliners and eat, watch tv and visit company in those chairs... so it is great they have these light plastic foldable lap trays. When it is time to eat they unfold them and put them in place and we can load with their plate and drink as they eat. They are durable plastic and just need occasional wiping down. These are a great buy and we've gotten our money's worth! PLUS there is a small storage area inside the tray area. It's large enough to hold a small tablet, a few pens and reading glasses. Review: Game changer - When I serve breakfast and lunch my 3 year old granddaughter would use a tray on her lap and a lot of her yogurt and tuna would end up on the tray because it would tilt and she couldn't keep it flat, now this lap desk is a game changer, it's perfect, I removed the top lid by scooting the pins out (it was in the way), there was hardly any spills this time, I'm using the lid for a lap tray for my lunch, I would recommend. ## Features - Ergonomic Design: Experience comfort with the adaptable and user-friendly design, suitable for both adults and children - Multi-Purpose Use: Ideal for working on-the-go, serving meals, or as a homework station - Integrated Storage: Keep documents, photos, notebooks, and pens organized in the built-in drawer - Durable & Easy to Clean: Withstand daily use and clean easily with mild soap and warm water - Compact Dimensions: Measuring 18.75" L x 11.25" W x 7.25" H (47.63 x 28.6 x 18.41 cm) and weighing 2.53 lbs (1.13 kg), this lap desk is perfect for various spaces ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08571JJKF | | Additional Features | Portable | | Best Sellers Rank | #268,910 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #433 in Lap Desks | | Brand | Mind Reader | | Brand Name | Mind Reader | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 892 Reviews | | Finish Types | Black | | Included Components | One Lap Desk | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 18.75"D x 11.25"W x 7.25"H | | Item Type Name | Dorm, MDF/Metal, 14.75"L x 11"W x 7.3"H | | Item Weight | 0.97 kg | | Manufacturer | EMS Mind Reader LLC | | Manufacturer Part Number | LAPSTOR-BLK | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | LAPSTOR-BLK | | Product Dimensions | 18.75"D x 11.25"W x 7.25"H | | Product Style | Modern | | Special Feature | Portable | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 887530038419 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Mind Reader - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 18.75"D x 11.25"W x 7.25"H - **Special Feature:** Portable ## Images ![LAPSTOR-BLK - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61GWLBZ++hL.jpg) ![LAPSTOR-BLK - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91hqDrPwi-L.jpg) ![LAPSTOR-BLK - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lub0eOH0L.jpg) ![LAPSTOR-BLK - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/616KIvts4BL.jpg) ![LAPSTOR-BLK - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710r47aRj1L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How do I snapped the legs down without breaking them?** A: I have no problem moving the legs. They are a bit stiff but still move. If yours don’t I would return it. **Q: what is the inner measurement side to side? Searching out a lap desk I can use sit-in indian style!** A: A little more than 17 inches **Q: Does it have a cut out in the top to hold a tablet ?** A: No, it does not. The top lift to open but I believe it would be too deep to allow good access to the keyboard. The space would also only accommodate a small lap-top. **Q: Would it break easy?** A: I don't think so. Mine hasn't. It does have a loud click when I fold the legs; my guess is so it doesn't collapse easy - which it doesn't. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy lap trays~ *by S***L on January 30, 2026* This black plastic lap desk is so perfect! I just keep it folded in my lap. It works but i think it’sa bit pricey for the quality. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mind Reader Lap Desk/Laptop Stand, Bed Tray, Folding Legs, Portable, Dorm, Plastic, 18.75" L x 11.25" W x 7.25" H, Black - Stress Relief: Coloring Book for Adults and Kids, Bold and Easy, Simple and Big Designs for Relaxation Featuring Animals, Landscape, Flowers, Patterns, Cute Things And Many More (Bold & Easy Coloring) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://bahrain.desertcart.com/products/192185159-lapstor-blk](https://bahrain.desertcart.com/products/192185159-lapstor-blk) --- *Product available on Desertcart Bahrain* *Store origin: BH* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
