The BEST repair kit!!!!!
YouTube has a video about how to use this product. Absolute must see. Product is EXCELLENT. Project turned out AMAZING. Filled in cracks in fiberglass shower surround & in divets in sink. So pleased with results by a complete amateur. Grateful risked the purchase! Worth it.

The best product ever
Love Love Love this - This has saved 2 bathtubs. I dropped a cabinet door in my tub and put a hole in it. I was sick. I had already tried something else on my son's tub that had a long crack in it and that had turned a nasty yellow and was coming loose. I fixed the hole in my tub and fixed the long crack in his tub. It has been 6 weeks and is still holding. It is as hard as the tub and as white as they tub. It comes with fiberglass to help hold the tub. It really wasn't that hard to use. I followed the directions (I'm a girl, so even girls can do it) and I watched a YouTube video just to make sure.

Works as advertised
I used this product to patch eight small screw holes in a fiberglass shower after removing the existing glass surround. It matched reasonable well using the almond color additive. Following an on-line video I used a piece of a plastic zip lock bag to smooth and get any air bubbles out and masking tape around each of the holes. The plastic and the masking tape did make the final sanding easy. The piece of included sand paper is rather rough (good for the initial sanding) but I used two finer grades of sandpaper for the final sanding. Two mistakes I made :1. leaving the plastic on until the epoxy cured. When I pulled the plastic off, it pulled some of the epoxy material out as well on two of the holes2. mixing the entire pouch at one time. It sets very quickly and I didn't need it all. I think I would have been better off snipping a small hole in each of the two sections of the pouch ( epoxy & hardener) and mixing only a portion of the contents.

Horrible looking fix - run away from this
I am a very handy person and capable of professional quality fixes around the home. This Devcon Tub repair kit is not a complete repair kit. It lacks the sand paper and buffing pad to make this repair look nice. I attempted to make a repair to a hairline crack in our master bath tub. I followed the instructions carefully. Our tub is not starck white and it's not a deep almond color. I worked fast and carefully to get the color matched - very difficult. Then I applied the Devcon material to the crack and applied a perfectly cut piece of fiberglass mesh that was in the package. Then applied more Devcon material over the fiberglass to blend it in and taper the edges of the fresh repair. That's when the repair process went very bad. The crack is on a vertical surface. This Devcon material "runs" down and looks Aweful. Devcon supplies a small brush with Black bristles and these black bristles fall out of the brush and end up embedded in your fresh expoxy repair. So you have to try to pull these black bristles out and then fix that area again. You have to apply the expoxy thick over the fiberglass mesh or you can still see the fiberglass. This thick layer of expoxy slowly runs downward like a dripping ice cream cone and you cannot wipe these drips or it really looks jacked up even worse. Now that the epoxy has finally hardened it looks really really bad...like a preschool child attempted the repair. If you have a tub in need of repair you should hire a professional because this repair kit is horrible to work with. Now I need to figure out how to sand and buff out all of the drips on this hardened repair, while carefully trying not to expose the thick fiberglass mesh that was supplied in this kit. The kit contains no sand paper or buffing compound to help me fix the look of this mess. If you are fixing a tub and you really just don't care at all about how the repair looks, then this product is for you. If you care about how your home looks then do not try to use this Devcon repair kit. This has been my worst experience with any repair kit in my memory.

Easy to use. Good value.
Easy to use. Directions clear. No way to save partial contents if you only need a smaller amount than mixing the whole packages up. Still well worth the cost even if you don't need the entire amount.

Application didn't go as expected
It hardened much quicker than I thought it would. I also wasn't expecting it to get so hot! Most of it was wasted.

It works
Worked great. It wasn't too pretty...but that is user error. I didn't really take my time to make it look good, I just wanted the hole and cracks closed and watertight. We've had it on for a couple months now, still holding well. I was thrilled to not have to call a plumber and/or buy a new tub/shower unit.
