How do I apply this paint? Most users will choose a synthetic brush, as this helps the coating level to a near flawless finish and will give you maximum glitter coverage, however, a roller, paint pad or spray equipment can be used for larger areas. Can I paint straight on to rusted surfaces? Yes, this product is self priming, but first remove/brush off any loose rust flakes or debris. Can I paint non rigid metals? Yes, the cured paint film remains very fexible and resistant to chipping & flaking from many future impacts. I have an oil based satin/gloss on my metalwork, can I paint straight over with this product? Yes you can, and in many instances only one coat will be required. Can I buff the surface to release even more holographic crystals? Yes, but wait 12hrs for the coating to fully cure, however, there really is no need to buff, as the glitter coverage for a product of this nature is exceptional! What are this products limitations? Not too many, but do not use in temps below 10 degrees centigrade and avoid painting over damp or condesated surfaces, (dry and warm up the surface first). Do not attempt to coat floor tiles or any other flooring substrate that may be walked on. (if coating very hard shiny metal surfaces, some abrasion maybe be required). Not suitable for ovens, log burners etc. We all know how Crystal Glitter works, right? Well it reflects light and the holographic crystals diffract the available white light, splitting it into a colour spectrum, that's why we can see the rainbow of different colours. The more sunlight the better effects. So to summarise: Lighting can make a huge difference to how your project will finally look.
