Huge hit with my 3.5 year old boy!
My 3.5 year old son is super interested in motors, technology, and all things that fly (butterflies & bats included!) This book is full of action words to keep his mind engaged. He is a close reader and I love that he points out small visual gems that I've missed in the illustrations. It definitely skews to an older audience, but there is much to love for the younger toddler crowd. This would be a great book to gift for kids who are starting to show interests in tech or who you want to show inclusivity of identities in children or childhood friendships.

cute book
It was a cute story and is great for younger readers who are interested in drones. There aren't many words per page and lots of nice full color pictures

Fun, friends and far-out gadgetry!
Once again, author/illustrator Shanda McCloskey knocks it out of the park (this time literally) with her newest picture book: T-Bone the Drone. Lucas and his (pet) drone take us on adventure full of friendship and high-tech problem solving. Relevant and entertaining, Shanda beautifully communicates through words and illustration the importance of community & collaborative play while inspiring creativity in the exploration of useful technology. I LOVE the cast of diverse characters in this book. Kids are going to LOVE Lucas and T-Bone the Drone!

Friends Working Together
A sweet story about friendship and working together to solve a problem. The illustrations are cute, and I like the way the characters have to use their imagination. I think young ones who like mechanical things will really like this story with a drone.

T-Bone the Maker of Book Readers
I bought this book (from my local book store) for my little 6 year old cousin for Christmas. Needless to say, the idea of a book for christmas was not his idea of a gift. However, once his mother read it to him, he has been asking her to read it nearly every night since. He LOVES the book! Hopefully this helps turn him into a bibliophile.
