Had this for a year. It’s served me very well! Solid tv with good picture.The menu is easy, simple, quick.

Disappointing
Have researched this model for some time and having read 'professional' reviews believed it to be one of the best TVs on the market. However, I did not want to spend over £1000 on a new TV when my old Samsung 3D was still working well. When the price for the 55" model dropped sub £1000 I tried to buy one but stocks flew off the shelves and when I did manage to source one it was faulty and kept switching off/on continuously. In the end I decided to upgrade to a 65" version. For Blu Ray and 4k (Netflix and Amazon Prime for example) content you can see what a great picture this TV can produce but standard Tv is poor and I can see no evidence of the 'upscaling' the set is supposed to be able to manage. Sky Sports football was particularly poor with quite visible banding and also motion judder. Out of the box settings were therefore poor. In the end I have managed to get the best picture by adjusting the 'Movie' picture settings having read that 'banding' is quite common on many of these TVs but does improve after 100+ hours of use. After using the TV for a few weeks now I can say that picture quality does seem to have improved and banding (vertical lines visible on screen) has faded. Overall though my old Samsung 3D TV and even a basic Samsung 4k LED TV I have in the kitchen seems to provide a better picture. Sound is clear but again nothing special. I haven't used this for gaming so cannot comment on that aspect. I was expecting something special from this 'flagship' TV but have been left feeling disappointed.

My stand came broken so I forcefully had to buy a wall bracket which I did not intend in the first place.

Died within 4 hours
Lasted all of 4 hours before dying. Now won’t turn on. Troubleshooting suggests its fused. Bought it from “A S K” ... avoid them like the plague for your own good. Waste of time, energy and money, even if they do accept a return.

Many Technical Issues That Samsung Refuse To Deal With,
Firstly, this TV's smart features are simply awful. One is bombarded with stuff you may not want and now Samsung have stopped you deleting it. The "bloatware" gets even worse if you agree to the Samsung Account terms and conditions that effectively give Samsung the right to spy on you monitoring all you watch. Technically the TV tuner is not able to store many terrestrial channels here in the east of England. I made the mistake of buying 2 of these sets neither can work properly here, all the other TV work fine!! I have use my satellite box to get all the UK channels. Think about that fact!!!! Samsung are knowingly are selling a TV that cannot store UK channels. They know about this problem I have spent hours complaining to them but they refuse to do anything about it. That is disgraceful I my opinion. Hopefully Amazon will post this review to protect its customers from going through what I have had to endure.

Very pleased.
Great television, good picture & sound but we use a sound bar to make the sound even better. We couldn’t tune in the tv to terrestrial tv for some reason? We have got Virgin Media so tuned in to that. Just hope Virgin Media doesn’t go down.
